While Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley serve their 12 and seven-year prison sentences, their oldest daughter Lindsie Chrisley landed in some legal trouble of her own. Her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Moillura accused her of having a “history of violence.”
The two have been embroiled in a nasty legal battle. Lindsie tried to get a restraining order against her ex, but new police reports obtained by Radar Online illustrate a different version of events. The incidents in question occurred back in 2022, but the details have just now emerged. It doesn’t look good for Lindsie.
According to the outlet, Thomas and Lindise started dating in February 2022 and broke up in August 2022. They reconnected briefly but broke up again in October 2022. Since then, there’s been nonstop drama.
Exposed by the police reports
Lindsie claimed that Thomas harassed her in the aftermath of their breakup. She said he was showing up at her house unannounced, sending her gifts, and blowing up her phone. She requested a temporary restraining order in August 2023, nearly a year after their breakup.
A court granted the restraining order, which was later dismissed. The newly obtained police reports perhaps offer a bit of explanation. Thomas presented a documented history of violent interactions with Lindsie, begging the question of who actually needed a restraining order in this situation.
In one instance, Thomas said he was at the Chrisley’s home and Todd advised him “to leave for his ‘safety.'” The most shocking accusation dates back to August 2022, when Lindsie reportedly showed up at Thomas’ house unannounced and got into a fight with Thomas and his new girlfriend, Julie Dovu.
According to Thomas, she knew his girlfriend was at this house because she had a friend who worked for the sheriff’s office run her license plates. Allegedly, Lindsie called Thomas’ ex-wife after the fight and confessed to the whole thing. That’s a bold move.
The police report detailed, “Thomas states he was struck with a closed fist in the face area twice and Julie was struck in the face and back of her head.”
Then, a month later, Thomas and Lindsie got into another physical altercation while driving in a car. According to a police report, Lindsie drunkenly attacked Thomas. The officer observed “apparent injuries on his face, neck, and left arm.” Ultimately, Thomas ended up at an urgent care to seek treatment.
Lindsie hasn’t commented on the accusations, which are pretty extreme for a relationship that lasted for less than a year. Let’s hope both Thomas and Lindsie have moved on from this and keep their hands to themselves moving forward. We’re wishing everyone the best.
