The beginning of the unraveling of Jesse Lally and Michelle Lally’s marriage has become a main storyline as Season 1 of The Valley progresses. In real-time, the two separated way back in October and waited until March to announce it.
Michelle has since moved on with financial advisor, Aaron Nosler. Last week, we learned that Jesse’s seeing philanthropist and mental health advocate, Lacy Nicole. Judging from some of his antics on the show (like slapping tables when he’s unhappy with the direction a conversation is moving in), many probably wouldn’t be shocked if he was already single again since that news broke.
However, Jesse and Lacy are still hanging on, and he says their relationship is “amazing.”
Jesse says he’s “super happy right now”
Jesse was a guest on the May 2 episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. Though he says his split and ongoing divorce from Michelle has been “traumatic” and he initially had a hard time moving on, his new relationship with Lacy has been “amazing.” They hard-launched as a couple at a charity event last week.
He shared, “I’m super happy right now. We’ve been great friends, we newly started dating. She’s just a very amazing person and she’s a beautiful soul.”
Jesse says he appreciates Lacy’s down-to-earth personality, and she’s a great neutralizer for him. If you watch the show – he needs that.
“Talk about grounding…she definitely grounds me for sure because she doesn’t let me get away with anything which is nice,” he added.
However, he’s not ready to label their situationship just yet, and they’re taking it slow.
He explained, “It’s just new and I don’t want no labels, no nothing. It’s just fun to spend time with somebody again.”
Jesse and Michelle share a four-year-old daughter, Isabella. Luckily, Jesse, Michelle, and their new love interests have been able to all come together and be civil.
Jesse shared, “We’re at a place now where she joined for Isabella’s birthday and Michelle and her boyfriend joined for Isabella’s birthday and we had a huge group of people. So it was nice. We all got together.”
He’s glad that he and Michelle were able to move on, but he’s especially relieved that Isabella has taken her parents’ separation in stride.
“She’s adapting well,” he shared. “She’s happy to go to Daddy’s for the iPad and Mommy’s for the tipi or tents. Thankfully, she’s doing great.”
