Who knew that Dylan Efron would make it all the way to the end of The Traitors? Dylan ended up being one of the breakout stars of Season 3. His spot-on takes that Bob The Drag Queen and Carolyn Wiger were Traitors was quite impressive. However, not all of his takes are spot on. Such as the fact that he thinks people “shower too much.” Oop. Dylan’s heartthrob meter just dropped.
Dylan Efron says “we don’t need to soap our bodies” every time we shower
Dylan was on the show Are You Okay? when he dished about his not-so-cleanly habits. The host asked Dylan what he found overrated. He said, “I think people shower too much.” The interviewer, and probably everyone watching, was shocked. She responded, “Oh, I hate that answer.”
But Dylan stood his ground. He added, “We take way too many showers. I go in the pool a lot. Like, there’s chlorine. It’s killing everything.” No, just, no.
She responded, “That’s not like scrubbing your body.” Dylan took it a step further. He said, “We don’t need to soap our bodies every time we’re in the shower either. That’s just way too much.”
Now it’s making a lot more sense why Ciara Miller didn’t think she could hang with Dylan. Ciara had said about Dylan, “He is so earthy that I don’t think I could hang. I like to hike, but he takes earthy to a whole new level.” And “so earthy” must be code for he doesn’t take showers.
The host then switched gears to his knack for catching Traitors. She asked, “What’s the easiest way to tell if somebody’s lying?” Dylan said, “You just got to go by gut … There’s strategy. When there’s chaos in the castle, that’s when the Traitors are thriving.”
However, it doesn’t seem Dylan’s skills on the show have stuck with him. The host asked, “Has your ability to like call out BS translated to real life?” Dylan laughed, “No, no. Not at all.”
The Traitors Season 3 finale airs March 6 at 9/8c on Peacock.
