It wouldn’t be Vanderpump Rules if Lala Kent didn’t have beef with at least one cast member on the show. Last season she had major issues with Billie Lee. She “popped off” at Billie during Scheana Marie’s housewarming party, and had a major meltdown during brunch service at SUR. Lala also dissolved her friendship with James Kennedy and chose to be friends with her former bullies, Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney instead.
This season Lala might be on the right track with James, but she is definitely on the wrong track with his girlfriend, Raquel Leviss. All the rage and vitriol Lala spat at Billie last year is going right to Raquel this year. And for what reason? Because Raquel stood by James’ side? Lala’s behavior hasn’t won her any points with fans. The heat must have gotten to her because she apologized for being an “asshole” to Raquel. Still, she isn’t taking full accountability, and recently she shared why.
The drama between Vanderpump Rules’ Witches of WeHo has felt longer than Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s wedding. There were rumblings before the new season started that Katie Maloney and Stassi Schroeder were on the outs with Kristen Doute, but no one knew why. What could have been so upsetting that Stassi didn’t invite Kristen to her engagement party to Beau Clark?
Unless there is a new reveal later this season, the answer seems to be Kristen’s relationship with Brian Carter. The emotional toll of hearing about how he’s no good, yet Kristen continuing to stay with him, was enough for Stassi and Katie to say buh-bye. But Kristen is not going quietly. She recently accused Stassi of having nothing going on and dissed her podcast. Then, on last week’s episode, she went after Katie.
We are officially halfway through this season of Vanderpump Rules, and so far it has been feuds galore. We’ve had Dayna Kathan feuding with Scheana Marie over Max Boyens. Then Scheana tried to feud with Charli Burnett over Brett Caprioni. Which lead to a feud between Brett and Scheana because he didn’t want to come over for her famous enchiladas. Don’t you ever change, girl.
Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney have banished Kristen Doute from their coven because of her on again off again relationship with Brian Carter. Lala Kent and James Kennedy made up, but James’ relationship with Raquel Leviss is hanging by a thread. Tom Sandoval almost got “Jaxed” from Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s wedding for saying their heads were in the sand about their pastor. So, is the rest of the season this tumultuous, or does Lance Bass step in and save the day for everyone?
As far as relationships go, Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder seems to have gotten it right with fiancé Beau Clark. It’s been refreshing to see her in a positive relationship for once. Unlike with past flames Jax Taylor and Patrick Meagher, where Jax
shockingly cheated on Stassi, and Patrick talked down to her at every turn.
Similarly to Brittany Cartwright, Beau has fit right in with the Pump Rules crew. Except for a minor dust up this season when he called out Tom Sandoval for rage texting Stassi about having her book party at TomTom. So, it comes a bit of a surprise to hear that Beau might not be all sunshine and rainbows towards Stassi.
Who else is excited that the newest season of Shahs of Sunset has finally arrived? Since we last saw the Shahs crew, there’s been one bombshell story in the news after the other. I’m not sure if they are even going to be able to fit all of the drama into one season.
For starters, Mercedes “MJ” Javid had a miscarriage scare and a near death experience after the birth of her son. She also had a major falling out with her best friend Reza Farahan, which might have prompted her husband Tommy Feight to allegedly vandalize Reza’s home. And if you think that’s crazy, according to Mike Shouhed, we haven’t seen anything yet.
As they say, all good things must come to an end. This season of Temptation Island was an incredible thrill ride from start to finish. Maybe not for the couples on the show perhaps, but as a viewer it did not disappoint. Did anyone correctly predict what the outcome for each couple would be? I know I didn’t!
One outcome during bonfire that should come to no surprise was Kate Griffith kicking David Benavidez to the curb. In fact, she didn’t just kick him to the curb, she went full Mortal Kombat and finished him with a flawless victory fatality when she told him not to tell all of America he whored himself out. Good luck cleaning that hot mess up, Toneata Morgan, you’re going to need it.
In a sea of mediocre Real Housewives shows, Temptation Island has been a welcome change. This season has had more twists and turns than anything else I’ve seen as of late. Right off the bat, major drama happened when Ashley Goldson hooked up with KB Brown because Rick Fleur said the cuffs were off. David Benavidez wanted Kate Griffith to trust him, but then he betrayed her by hooking up with multiple women and having a threesome.
Even Casey Starchak’s strategy to win back Ashley Howland from Ben Knobloch was next level. After comparing her to a rat in a box, and saying he didn’t care if Ashley broke up with him, he decided to manipulate her with a “sales pitch” and the diamond ring she had been wanting. So, how will it all end? Thankfully, we have a two part bonfire to wrap this all up!
And now it’s time to say goodbye to Temptation Island, for the singles that is. This is the last chance for them to make their move before the final bonfire where the couples decide if they want to leave the island together, alone, or with someone else. So far, it looks like only Ashley Goldson might want to go home with her boyfriend, while Esonica Veira, Ashley Howland and Kate Griffith will choose to fly solo or leave with someone else.
On the opposite side of things, Gavin Rocker, Casey Starchak, and Rick Fleur seemed to have decided they want to go home with their girlfriends. David Benavidez, as usual, says whatever the person he is with wants to hear, so who knows what he really wants. All I know is, it’s going to be an interesting finale, and no one can be sure of anything.
