The Valley cast right now is a house divided. With Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor and their tumultuous divorce at the helm, their co-stars have been choosing sides. Of course, it’s no shock that Kristen Doute is supporting Brittany through their split. The two are close friends and have always taken up for each other.
This makes Kristen’s fiancé Luke Broderick, and his recent outing that much more unexpected. Specifically, he hosted an NFL draft party, and you guessed it, it was held at Jax’s Studio City bar. It also happened to be Luke’s 34th birthday, making the event a double occasion. People are instantly sounding off about it, including Kristen, and Luke is facing the noise.

During a recent episode of their Balancing Act podcast, Kristen and Luke addressed the NFL/birthday party. Even though Kristen didn’t attend, she still believes that Jax was trying to buy Luke’s support by giving him the venue. But her fiancé has a different view on their friendship.
“We drank beer, watched football, ate wings, and then after we went to Jax’s bar. Jax has been going out of his way. He’s been very nice to me. He gave me a freezer. He has essentially taken his truck with me to Home Depot to get some landscaping stuff,” he defended in the April 26 episode.
Luke also revealed that he touched base with Jax’s estranged wife before going through with the party plans.
“I called Brittany because I have gotten closer with Brittany, and I’m not trying to come in between them. I know things are tough. Brittany said she’s not going to be mad at me. She understands. She just isn’t going to go if it’s at Jax’s.”
As for now, it seems like there was no harm done with the guys’ night out.
