Bethenny Frankel is more than ready to trade her apple in for an orange. The former Real Housewives of New York star recently revealed she would relocate to Florida. Fans were surprised by her announcement as it marks the end of an era. But it seems Bethenny has one very good reason for leaving. Here’s what we know about why Bethenny moved to Florida…
Bethenny Frankel reveals real reason for Florida move
It turns out Bethenny hasn’t been totally honest about her move. During a Mother’s Day TikTok, the mother of one admitted she has been feeling pretty isolated as of late.
Bethenny opened up about her journey, noting, “It started with the [COVID-19] pandemic, which gave me license to be the introvert and insular person that everyone is surprised that I am.” The 54-year-old Bravoleb explained she would stay at “home for days without leaving the house.” She added that she often felt “lonely and unhappy” when in Connecticut. She even called her historical home a “cave” because she “never did anything.”
Bethenny revealed that her connection to Manhattan had become “transactional,” and the only time she had fun was “when I would go out of town.”
However, Bethenny is positive that moving to where her childhood friends are will reawaken her social life. She also hopes the move will “reinvigorate [her] relationship with” the Big Apple. For B, it is all about changing her state of mind.
“I walk outside and I go take a walk on the beach and I’m just existing, like, with other human life,” she explained.
The former RHONY star first told followers that the reason behind the move stemmed from her teenage daughter. Bethenny had shared that Bryn had “begged” for the move in order to follow her volleyball dreams. Whatever the motive, Bethenny is clearly looking for a fresh start, and fans hope she finds it.
