Teddi Mellencamp Gives Cancer Immunotherapy Update

We have nothing but admiration for Teddi Mellencamp as she continues navigating her cancer battle in the public eye. She doesn’t have to, but she’s chosen to let fans in on the journey, from the good moments to the bad. We’re thrilled to share that the latest update is a positive one.

During the May 14 episode of Two Ts in a Pod, Teddi spoke with her co-host Tamara Judge and shared an update on her cancer. She said that things were headed in a good direction, and she’s feeling eager to be back in “full force” soon.

Teddi Mellencamp is responding to immunotherapy amid cancer battle

In February 2025, Teddi was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer after discovering tumors on her brain and lungs. Since then, she’s undergone surgeries and immunotherapy to remove and shrink the tumors. During the recording of TWOT, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum confirmed that the immunotherapy is working.

“Last time, they had checked solely my brain, and those tumors are shrinking. And then, today I had the scan, where they checked my lungs, and they are shrinking, and one of them has shrunk so much you can barely even see it,” Teddi shared.

Although Teddi can’t quite declare herself “cancer-free,” she said that her doctors are feeling good about her progress. She’ll remain on immunotherapy for the next two years. Plus, her doctors will continue to monitor the size tumors to ensure they’re shrinking and eventually disappearing altogether.

“So every four weeks for the next two years, I have to come in and get that done,” Teddi continued. “And then every three months I get another scan and we check to make sure that everything is where it is.”

Teddi admitted that she initially felt concerned about having to live on immunotherapy. Now that she’s received this “good news” from her doctors, it has her feeling like there’s a “smooth path forward.” Of course, we’re all rooting for her.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
