Kyle Richards says she’s ready to ditch the drama of Beverly Hills (and the comment section) for farm life—but is she going off the grid? The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG recently opened up about her frustration with internet trolls, which in part explains her desire for a major lifestyle change—one that would have most RHOBH fans raising their eyebrows.
Could RHOBH star Kyle Richards move to a farm to escape online trolls?

After years of facing online hate, Kyle says she’s ready to unplug. In an interview with Daily Mail, she said she’s fed up with negativity online. “Social media is just such a scary place,” she said. “It’s so toxic, it’s so negative. I can’t stand it.”
Kyle says the internet backlash has made her rethink her entire lifestyle. “I’ve been telling my friends lately, that’s it, I’m moving to a farm. I am going off the grid.” She added, “I’m going to live off the land. I don’t want to go on any social media.”
In fact, for years, the online cruelty has been personal. Online trolls have targeted her over her (still) ongoing separation from Mauricio Umansky. Recently, her daughter, Sophia Umansky, also faced nasty comments after sharing her hair loss experience she attributed to using a weight loss drug.
Even worse, Teddi Mellencamp, Kyle’s longtime friend and RHOBH castmate, has faced cruel comments throughout her cancer battle. “Even Teddi’s had comments. What is wrong with people?” Kyle asked.
Despite all this, she tries to block the noise. “I tell myself every day, these comments do not reflect the truth of what everybody thinks,” she said.
Still, the emotional toll is real—especially as a mom. “It’s very upsetting to me as a mom and as a human being.” Kyle says she’s grateful her daughters are confident. “They are bullied on there all the time. They let it roll off their shoulders,” she said.
Her advice to other parents? Delay social media. “Kids shouldn’t have phones really young… keep them off social media as long as possible,” she urged.
Ultimately, if things don’t improve online, Kyle might just find peace—and quiet—on a farm far from Beverly Hills. At least she could put all of her custom Kemo Sabe cowboy hats to good use!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills streams on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
