Everything’s coming up Phaedra Parks these days. With her triumphant comeback to the Real Housewives of Atlanta, the southern belle is back in the spotlight. Though she left the show nearly eight years ago, fans have never really let her go and now that she’s back, she’s not holding back on her opinions, including maybe even throwing a bit of shade at the current president.
Phaedra has never been shy about saying how she feels. She’s touched on why she feels her return to RHOA feels correct to saying she’s in it for the long haul. Looks like she’s not letting go of that peach anytime soon. And in the spirit of honesty, Phaedra also touched on a series of topics that surprisingly included peaches, pizza, and even the POTUS.
Phaedra Parks’ thoughts on President Trump’s tariff and “popular” fraud
Phaedra spoke with Interview Magazine about her thoughts on popular hot button topics.
One of the surprising ones was her thoughts on the current administration from potential fraud in the White House to the impact that tariffs are having on the country.
“(Fraud) is popular right now,” Phaedra admitted. “It might even be in the presidential office. However, we won’t go into politics.” As usual, she slid that in subtly while still making a point. As for tariffs, the reality star shared her thoughts on the current situation.
“It’s so unfortunate,” she said. “It would be great if actually made things in the United States. But since we don’t produce anything, it’s not going to serve our best interest to impose tariffs because it’s going to make people spend a lot more money on things that they could have gotten for pennies on the dollar.”
An insightful answer to be sure. However, while she was forthcoming about many things, she had to keep her thoughts on Kenya Moore’s exit and her feud with Brit Eady to herself (at least for this interview.)
“Oh, the network says no on that one,” she admitted truthfully. Instead, she shared what she thought of peaches.
“Peaches are delicious, especially when there’s a crust and a warm syrup with some ice cream on it.”
