Janet Caperna is in the hot seat on The Valley. Her battle with Kristen Doute rages on well into Season 2. It’s hard to believe that before the Vanderpump Rules spinoff show aired on TV, those two were the best of friends. My, how things have changed.
In the latest episode of The Valley, Kristen threw a shot at Janet by accusing her husband, Jason Caperna, of taking off his wedding ring when he goes out. Jason and Janet laughed off the entire thing, but it’s likely the rumor won’t fizzle out just as quickly as it ignited. Things don’t work that way on Bravo.
Now, Janet’s addressing the claims head-on. Does she even care?

During her recent appearance on The Viall Files podcast, Janet shared her two cents about the ring fiasco.
“Jason and I both, when we’re at home, don’t have our rings on,” she said. “We have ring holders next to the bed, at his office [and] I have one next to the couch. We just, truly, don’t wear our rings at home. When we go out, we put our rings on.”
Janet, he was accused of not wearing it when he goes out, so we’re not sure what this is supposed to prove.
Then, Janet admitted that Jason does forget his ring sometimes when he works out or goes “out and about.” However, she claims it doesn’t really bother her.
“Jason’s the most trustworthy, good guy. [I] really believe that he’s extremely trustworthy and has great character. A ring is not some sort of force-field that protects you from ever doing anything wrong,” she added.
“What protects my husband from not cheating on me is that he’s not a cheater.” Fair enough.
