Next Gen NYC is finally kicking off! And according to star Ariana Biermann, everyone will get into it with each other. For those who don’t know, the show follows around a group of twenty-somethings trying to make it in NYC. Several of the cast members are already household names, as their parents are stars on Bravo. However, even though we don’t know everyone on the cast, it sounds like they are all stepping it up. As Ariana teased, there looks to be a lot of drama to come.
Ariana Biermann says Next Gen NYC has her “in the hot seat”
Ariana is one of those already established household names in the Bravoverse, as her mom, Kim Zolciak, used to star on Real Housewives of Atlanta. She spilled the tea to Page Six on a taste of what’s to come for their first season.
Ariana said, “There’s definitely some drama. It’s a friend group of a lot of different people — not all of us mesh well together. Everybody gets into it at least once. I’m in the hot seat quite often.” Do tell!
She also maintained that she is the truth teller of the group. Ariana said, “One thing I always say is, you’re not going to catch me in a lie. I’ve learned to really be authentically who I am and not be afraid of what people think because either way you’re going to win and you’re going to lose — people love you and people hate you.”
And she feels very natural around the camera. Ariana added, “I’ve done this since I was five so I feel like it’s instilled in me. My mom used to always say she feels better with the camera around.”
Drama has already been reported between Riley Burruss and Gia Giudice. Riley hails from RHOA, and Gia from Real Housewives of New Jersey. Gia claimed that Riley got upset when she told her their shows had the same energy.
While they are beefing, Ariana also has had drama of her own regarding a DUI case. It will be interesting to see if that makes its way onto the series as well.
