Season 1 of Love Hotel is coming to an end, which is a bummer, but on the bright side, that means that we can start looking ahead to Season 2. Shannon Beador already has some ideas about who she wants to check in next season, and surprisingly, they aren’t Real Housewives. She thinks they should tap into the rest of the Bravo universe next season.
Could Lala Kent and Paige DeSorbo join the Love Hotel cast?
In an interview with Decider, Shannon reflected on her experience filming Love Hotel while also teasing the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Orange County. When asked about a potential Season 2 of Love Hotel, she suggested a few people outside of the Housewives universe for the next round.
“I think that it would be fun to see people from other types of shows, Bravo shows, be on it,” Shannon said. “I think Lala Kent would be great on the show, and Paige DeSorbo.”
Of course, Paige just had her very public breakup with Southern Charm star Craig Conover. The jury is still out on whether or not he cheated on her. Meanwhile, Lala hasn’t had a public relationship in years. She said her dating life felt “non-existent” before focusing on going solo with a second baby.
When Shannon checked into the Love Hotel, she was in a similar boat. She took a break from dating and didn’t put herself out there until she got to the show. That made for some great television.
“I had been single for about a year,” Shannon recalled of her decision to join the dating show.
“I had my DUI, and I just wanted to focus on myself, and I thought it was really good timing. Like, OK, I’ve been single a year, I can be on my own. My last relationship was with someone that clearly liked the fame, so I just said, ‘Go. Have fun, and if you end up meeting somebody, then that’s a bonus.’”
Love Hotel Season 1 finale airs on Sunday, June 15 at 9/8c on Bravo and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
