Ariana Biermann – daughter of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, and star of Next Gen NYC, finally addressed the rumors about her 2022 DUI arrest. Now, she’s ready to clear the air about what really happened.
Ariana Biermann denies DUI despite plea deal
On a recent episode of Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast, Ariana, 23, got honest about her DUI ordeal. She began, “I hate that this is all surfacing right now. I didn’t do it, and I was never gonna take any deal or do anything. I denied so many of them because I was like, ‘No. I didn’t do this. I’m fighting this.’”
Ariana shared that the last three years living under a cloud of public scrutiny have been stressful. “Everybody thinks I’m on probation for the next two years and that I have a DUI. I do not have one. It was dismissed completely. I do not have one at all.”
It all started back in August 2022, when Ariana was involved in a minor accident in her Mercedes G-Wagon. Police at the scene claimed they could smell alcohol, but Ariana denied drinking any alcohol—she only admitted to hitting a THC vape pen the previous night. Her attorney, Justin Spizman, argued that officers got it wrong and confirmed she “wholly denies these allegations.”
This spring, Ariana decided to accept a plea deal, putting the case to rest. She entered a no contest plea to reckless driving and possession of drug-related items, while prosecutors dropped the DUI and underage drinking charges. As Ariana put it, “They offered me this in August, and I said, you know what? I’ll take it. So whatever. Move on.”
Her sentence includes two years of probation, 40 hours of community service, over $2,000 in fines, and no use of alcohol or drugs. Ariana managed to find some humor in her new sober lifestyle, joking, “I am literally gonna have a damn six pack.”
Gia, who also star on Next Gen NYC, cheered her on, saying Ariana will be in the “sickest shape of her life.” Ariana already spilled hot tea about her mom (allegedly) stealing her money on Episode 1, so at this rate, her carrying the show on her back might also contribute to her fitness goals.
Next Gen NYC airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo and streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
