Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was epic. Demi Engemann and Taylor Frankie Paul’s feud exploded. And in the end, Demi tried to rally support to kick Taylor out of MomTok. However, when the rest of MomTok declined to push Taylor out, Demi decided to leave. Now the first-ever Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reunion is upon us, and Demi is missing from the reunion photos. What is going on?
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 reunion won’t include Demi Engemann
Recently, Demi opened up about the show and the reunion. US Weekly reported that Demi shared via an Instagram Q&A that she won’t be participating in the reunion. “I was [invited]. It was short notice, and the only day they could get the location secured was the day that me and my entire family did Disneyland,” she explained.
She continued, “We had already booked all of our flights and the Airbnb was nonrefundable or / would’ve moved the trip to be there. I tried to have production move it to another day, and they couldn’t swing it, sadly,” Demi added. That is certainly disappointing. As the villain for Season 2, with Demi missing, there will be several issues that will remain unresolved.
Much of the MomTok group had turned away from Demi, so her future with MomTok is uncertain. During her Q&A, she also wrote about how some scenes reportedly landed on the editing room floor. “I’m learning to ride the wave of public perception,” Demi wrote. “It’s ever changing and no one is judging me off the full story, so it really doesn’t matter at the end of the day.”
I was hoping for some juicy information from the Season 2 reunion about Demi’s time at Castello Rosato, also known as Vanderpump Villa. After some of the MomTok ladies hit up Italy, former server Marciano Brunette hinted that he had an affair with Demi. Well, I’m crossing my fingers we get some answers in Season 3 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
