Throughout Lisa Hochstein’s bitter divorce from Lenny Hochstein, it became very clear that his mom, Marina Hochstein, was unabashedly Team Lenny. She dropped shady comments about Lisa on Instagram and took shots at Lisa on The Real Housewives of Miami. At one point, we thought maybe she needed to snag a mojito.
Fortunately, time heals all wounds, and Lisa revealed at the RHOM Season 7 premiere party that she and her former mother-in-law had made up. They’re on such good terms that she actually showed up at the premiere party!
Lisa and Marina Hochstein are in a better place
Lisa and Lenny share two kids, Logan and Elle. In an interview with Page Six, the RHOM star opened up about how her coparenting relationship with Lenny also helped smooth things over with Marina.
“I’m so happy about it,” Lisa said of the recent developments.
According to Lisa, the reconciliation came about when Logan and Elle asked to have a joint birthday party at their dad’s house on Star Island. Lisa said she decided to put on her “big-girl panties” for the sake of the kids.
“We did it, and it was great. It actually turned out wonderful. He was on his best behavior,” Lisa said.
Lenny wasn’t the only one on their best behavior. At the party, Lisa and Marina spoke for the first time in nearly two years.
“Marina and I actually made up, and that was the best thing for me, at least, and I think for the kids and our future,” Lisa explained.
Meanwhile, Marina was also doing interviews at the RHOM Season 7 premiere party, and she shared a similar sentiment. She said that Logan and Elle are the most important things, and they can’t have their mom feuding with their grandma.
“It’s very important they will have a family again,” Marina explained. “Because we have to be friends, and I hope my son and Lisa also will be friends again.”
