Welcome back to the high seas, featuring the return of Chef Anthony. This week, Below Deck Season 12 Episode 3 showcases his first full episode back on Bravo. But, as last week teased, his return will soon cause problems for Fraser, whom Anthony holds a grudge against from last season. Sadly, this is not the only grudge forming. To show you what we mean, here is everything that happened in Below Deck Season 12 Episode 3, “Fight Island.”
What happened in Below Deck Season 12 Episode 3?
The interior department is struggling. Rainbeau is growing weary of Solène. However, Fraser has zero time to deal with this stressor, as their current guests are porn stars, and these men are seeking a solid vacation via an extended five-day charter. Meanwhile, Caio is failing as the bosun, and now, Captain Kerry is asking if another plane ticket home is needed.
Anthony moves in with Fraser as tensions gently mount in the interior
Anthony moves in with Fraser, noting in his confessional that he still needs to speak with his friend about his Season 11 grudges. Meanwhile, Fraser encourages the green Solène to observe Rainbeau as she works. Rainbeau then turns to Solène, explaining that she will be direct during these periods of instruction, with zero coddling terms included.
Solène understands. In the galley, Lawrence shows Anthony how he has organized various things, which Anthony approves of.
In a cabin, Rainbeau teaches Solène a Febreeze-style shortcut. Seeking clarification with a raised tone attached, which I am beginning to think is just how she speaks, Solène semi-claps back, wondering when to use this hack and when to bust out an iron. Annoyed, Rainbeau exits.
Then, dinner arrives for the crew. Sitting next to Solène, Rainbeau apologizes for their earlier encounter. Solène agrees that Rainbeau was out of line. Smiling while enjoying this sh*t show is Captain Kerry, who full-on laughs after Bárbara praises Solène for making an excellent bed, even though it took her two hours to complete.
A porn star-filled charter group comes on board
Captain Kerry informs Fraser about their next guests. These men are here for five days, and they are all porn stars. They have requested lube in every room, Fraser reveals, admitting that he is terrified.
Visiting three islands in four countries, with nightly themed dinners, this charter will be “a doozy,” Captain Kerry quips. Also, one of these islands contains a nude beach. Therefore, the guests want a huge dong erected in the sand, he states.
Lawrence and Anthony head outside to co-plan their meals. They get along well. Inside, Kyle, Bárbara, and Jess look up their future primary, Skyy Knox, watching him perform in all of his x-rated glory.
Afterward, Kyle and Solène head outside, where Solène notes that she still wears a bracelet from Dylan Pierre De Villiers, her Below Deck Season 11 ex, whom she still loves. Kyle is unfazed.
The next morning, a storm rolls into town, as do their guests. However, Captain Kerry has to call for Fraser. His uniform is MIA, he explains. “If you want something done right,” Rainbeau sighs, ironically struggling to open a bottle of champagne.
Leaving the dock, Captain Kerry has to battle rain, the bridge of death, and the wind. Thankfully, Bárbara helps, throwing fenders overboard to protect the yacht. They make it through intact.
Damo and Jess commiserate over Caio
Bárbara gets to know the guests. One male, Tony, has a wife, but he and Skyy are also partners, he reveals.
Jess then reminds Caio that the day is almost over, yet no one on the deck team has had lunch. Caio is shocked. He sends Jess on a break. In his interview, Damo explains that their break schedule is chaotic, courtesy of a scattered Caio.
Also chaotic is the laundry room, allegedly. Captain Kerry is once again without a uniform, and he is pissed. Nevertheless, Rainbeau and Bárbara are not at fault, they explain.
Dinner on night one is Cabaret-themed. The guests love Kyle, who stops in wearing cheeky attire. Likewise, Bárbara loves the effort Solène is showing in the cabins.
After dinner, the guests host a talent show, complete with deep-throating fists. The whole crew laughs. Following this, Damo finds Jess. They commiserate over Caio, who is in the wheelhouse, showing Captain Kerry a solid spot for snorkeling.
Tensions mount between Rainbeau and Solène
Rainbeau guides Solène on how to put dishes away quickly. But Solène insists she is moving quickly. Sighing, Rainbeau sends Solène to bed. Rainbeau is about to burn out, she admits.
Around 2 am, Rainbeau weeps through a panic attack. At 3, Damo enters, asking if she needs aid. Rainbeau says no, admitting she will also fudge the time she went to bed so she can wake up early to help her team.
The next morning, Bárbara bonds with the guests over her coming out story. Also trying to bond, Jess confesses to Caio that she and Damo are frustrated with his lack of breaks. He understands.
Lawrence exits filming. After seeing him off, Captain Kerry points out the snorkeling area to the guests. Then, Caio changes the location, admitting he failed with his communication. Captain Kerry feels aggravated.
Caio and the guests depart. Kyle notices a water toy floating away from the yacht. He jumps in the water to drag it back as Captain Kerry watches on. Not long after, Caio brings the guests back to the yacht shockingly early.
Captain Kerry calls him into the wheelhouse. Flashbacks appear, showing all the wrongs Caio has encountered. Caio can do better, he answers, but Captain Kerry remains unsure.
