Bravo’s Love Hotel is officially closed and it looks like Real Housewives of New York alum Luann de Lesseps has found what she was looking for on the show. However, she explained that the sparkler on her ring finger is just a beautiful accessory and not an engagement ring.
Love Hotel’s first season just finished and Luann certainly made a splash. She was joined by other Housewives looking for love in all the right places. It was actually quite a refreshing take on a dating show and even with the mild drama, overall it seems like everyone had a great time.

Since choosing James Quine at the end of Love Hotel, Luann has been positively glowing and gushing about her relationship. While James may have seemed a bit intense and possessive on the show, it turns out that’s fine with her.
But they are taking things a day at a time. And Luann had to explain on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, that the massive new sparkler on her ring finger is not an engagement ring from James.
“It’s an aquamarine,” Luann shared. “And it was a gift from one of my admirers. That’s all I’m gonna say.” She confirmed that it was not from James (perhaps from Mark or Gerry?) but mentioned that her key necklace was from James.
“But you’re wearing it on your wedding finger,” Andy commented.
Luann confirmed that the only reason for that was that it didn’t fit on another finger. Andy then asked her what James thinks of some other suitor giving her a sparkling ring that she wears on her ring finger?
“You know what I love about James,” Luann said. “James said to me, ‘You know Luann, I live in Hawaii. I can’t be there with you all the time. It is totally okay if you date, and when we see each other, we see each other, because I love you.”
This resulted in the audience all collectively saying “Aww!”
It’s nice seeing mature adults finding relationships that work for them. So while the ring may not be what we thought, Luann is still definitely happy and in love.
