Hugh Jackman is currently struggling to sell tickets for his upcoming Broadway show, “From New York, With Love.” According to reports, the seat prices were lowered to sell the tickets. According to ShutterScoop, a source claimed that the Australian actor’s team was “scrambling to save face” because of the Broadway debacle. This news comes just weeks after Jackman’s wife of 27 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, filed for divorce.

Hugh Jackman is set to perform his one-man Broadway show, “From New York, With Love,” at Radio City Music Hall on June 20 and 21. Originally, the ticket prices ranged at $200, but the cost has plummeted to $20.
Speaking about the major drop in prices, a source told ShuterScoop, “He went from Broadway’s golden boy to a clearance bin casualty. It’s a humiliation.” Apparently, there were a lot of seats available in the high-priced orchestra section, which were seemingly sold at bargain prices. Additionally, the prices of the three mezzanine sections were comparatively lower, as the third mezzanine’s rate went as low as $20.
According to the outlet, an insider close to the show’s production claimed, “[Jackman] still singing, still smiling, but the spark’s gone. Audiences can feel it.” They further highlighted that the team was concerned about the upcoming performance.
Meanwhile, The Daily Mail reported that fans might have turned their backs on Jackman. Some of them have allegedly attempted to sell the Broadway show’s tickets on resale websites at lower prices.
Speculation is rife that Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness’s divorce might have affected “The Wolverine” star’s concert. Last month, she filed for divorce after being married for 27 years. However, in September 2023, they announced their separation. Furthermore, the actor is currently dating another Broadway star, Sutton Foster.
Aside from the legal divorce battle, Jackman is also dealing with the sale of his upcoming show. It appears to be the first time that the actor has had to go through this kind of trouble.
