Welcome to The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Episode 2 recap. Last time, Lisa threw Larsa out of her boyfriend, Jody Glidden’s, party after Larsa questioned Lisa’s loyalty. Meanwhile, Alexia is dating her husband, Todd Nepola, five months after he filed for divorce. Also, Julia Lemigova and Guerdy Abraira’s friendship started to show some fractures. Here’s what happened in RHOM Season 7 Episode 2: “Miami Takes Milan.”
What happened in Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Episode 2?
Alexia decided that she was done with Todd’s controlling behavior. Meanwhile, Larsa, her son Preston, Lisa, and Jody went to Milan for Fashion Week. Lisa and Preston walked in Phillip Plein’s show. However, an off-camera blow-up between Larsa, Lisa, and Jody led to Larsa making some shocking accusations.
Julia reveals why she backed away from Guerdy on The Real Housewives of Miami
Alexia and Julia were doing Pilates. Well, Alexia was, but I’m not sure what Julia was doing. Then Alexia asked Julia about Guerdy. “I frankly don’t care much one way or the other of seeing Guerdy. I had this very kind of a cold text message from her after she found out about the news for the boys,” Julia said.
“Then, I literally was holding both boys, and I was dictating the message. I said, ‘I’m sorry you couldn’t be on that call. I had something important to share at the same time with all of you, and you will find out. It’s out there now,’” Julia explained. “And she just wrote, ‘Congrats.’”
Also, a few months ago, Julia’s wife, Martina Navratilova, was supposed to go on a cruise with Julia. Unfortunately, Martina had a health issue, so Guerdy stepped in. “And Guerdy made it all about publicity, herself, her PR, and was texting me the most insane messages,” Julia told Alexia. “Accusing me of not looking after her properly during some dinner reservations.”
Here comes Julia with her receipts! At this rate, Guerdy and Julia will need a binder for the RHOM reunion. Julia read some text messages allegedly from Guerdy. “They don’t have my name on the dinner reservation. Not sure why they separated us since I came only because of you,” Julia read. “I was moved to the side for this exclusive party. Anyway, all good here. I had dinner alone. See you around.” Yikes! Julia told Alexia, “She’s not my safe space anymore.”
Then we have Alexia, who is in “emotional limbo.” Julia read in the press that Todd has 30 days to move the divorce forward, or it will be tossed. “I hope he doesn’t proceed with that,” Alexia stated. “The ball’s on his court, but it’s gonna show his true colors,” she tearfully added.
Larsa and Lisa bring their feud to Milan in the Real Housewives of Miami Season 7
Lisa is walking in the Milan Fashion Week for designer Phillip Plein, so she is thrilled. However, the previous week, her father suffered a heart attack. The two had recently made amends, so of course, his condition is on Lisa’s mind. Plus, Larsa will be in Milan, too, because her son, Preston, is walking in the same show. What a coincidence!
Of course, Larsa and Lisa were on the same flight, but they didn’t speak to each other. And, to add insult to injury, they must ride in the same car. “Maybe they can sit in the trunk?” Larsa quipped as she climbed into the vehicle. It was awkward as the two ladies faced each other, and Jody sat next to Lisa. Larsa said that she was not going to discuss their issues because it was Preston’s moment.
Well, that lasted for about five minutes. The ladies started to rehash all the hurtful comments that they had made about each other. “Be friends with Marcus. You chose him,” Larsa said. She added, “I would choose Lisa over anyone, by the way. I’ve chosen Lisa for 15 years over everyone.”
When Jody said that he couldn’t stop seeing his friends, Larsa said, “Okay, Jody, kiss Marcus Jordan’s *ss if you feel so connected to him.” Larsa informed Jody that Marcus is just using him as a pawn to get to her. She then called Jody “a psycho” for not siding with her. I’m so glad that Larsa took it easy!
When Lisa told Larsa that her father is in the ICU and she is “on standby,” Larsa responded, “You shouldn’t have come. If he’s not going to make it in a week, why are you here?” When Lisa called Larsa “rude,” she responded, “That is not rude. If your dad has a week to live, like he just said, you shouldn’t be here.” Oof.
Marysol doesn’t want Alexia to reconcile with Todd on The Real Housewives of Miami
Marysol and Steve had a date night at home. The couple is finally making it legal in one week at the courthouse. When their conversation turned to Alexia, Marysol had a clear stance. She doesn’t want them together. “I don’t want that, because the Alexia with Todd is not a good Alexia. And since she’s been away from him, it’s like a breath of fresh air,” Marysol explained. “It’s the friend that I used to know. It’s the friend that I fell in love with.”
Marysol explained in her confessional, “The last few years that Alexia’s been with Todd, she has been really stressed, very difficult, you know? Then I get the other side of that edginess, and it’s not fun.” Meanwhile, the “cockie” queen told Steve, “He was constantly picking on her, and making her feel less than.” Marysol doesn’t want to lose Alexia as a friend, but she doesn’t think Todd is “the right man for her.”
Alexia decides her future on The Real Housewives of Miami
Marysol, Kiki, Alexia, and Julia met up with Alexia’s friend Jonny. He lives in Madrid, so Alexia invited some of his friends out for a fun dinner. Right now, the group feels like Alexia needs to stand in her power with Todd and decide what she wants.
“I am still in love with this man, and I wanted that, but it’s kind of like, I think he’s been playing me,” she stated. In her confessional, Alexia explained, “Todd liked the show in the beginning, and then he didn’t like the way he saw himself, or the public saw him. The show bothered him because he couldn’t control it.”
While they worked on their marriage, Alexia offered to leave RHOM, saying that Todd and her family were more important. According to Alexia, her estranged husband replied, ‘Well, it’s too late already.’” Nice!
In her confessional, Marysol said, “This is a grandiose set-up. He is soothing and calming my best friend because we’re filming a show. And he wants to come out in the best light.” Finally, Alexia admitted, “It’s all about control. He wants to control the narrative.” Welcome back, Alexia! “I don’t even know him,” Alexia said in her confessional. “It’s like I’ve been sleeping with the enemy for eight years.”
Then Alexia said that she told Todd, “All of this is temporary. I live in your fake rented apartment. I drive your fake rented car.” WOW. Marysol covered her face with a paper as Alexia insisted she was telling the truth. “I f*cking allowed this,” she sobbed.
Finally, Alexia decided that she was going to make Todd follow through on the divorce. “He’s a coward,” Alexia said. When Julia mentioned how Todd packed up and left their apartment while Frankie Rosello, Alexia’s son, watched, the Cuban Barbie became activated. She chanted, “F*ck Todd!” as they all toasted.
Some not-so-model behavior on The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7
Larsa and Jody were sitting in the same row, with Larsa’s friend in the middle. Larsa and her friend took a selfie with a ring light while Lisa was walking down the runway. So petty! In return, during the finale, Lisa blew Larsa a kiss. Both Preston and Lisa killed it.
During the after-party, Larsa told Lisa that they should talk when they get home. Lisa felt like Larsa was giving Lenny Hochstein vibes. And Lisa is done putting up with people who behave like her ex-husband. “I have boundaries, so she’s gonna respect me, or she’s not gonna have me around,” Lisa said.
Then, rapper Fabolous asked what “was going on with the housewives.” Then both Larsa and Lisa dragged him into the drama. Bless Fabolous for trying to settle this beef.
Meanwhile, Jody disappeared from the party, and Lisa said that he felt “left out.” When producers asked Lisa during her confessional if she knew where Jody went, she had no idea.
Larsa points the finger at Jody on The Real Housewives of Miami
The screen faded to black, with the words, “The cameras shut down for the night. But the tension between Lisa, Larsa, and Jody didn’t.”
One week later, Larsa told the ladies in Miami about Milan. She said that as soon as she and Lisa started getting along, Jody became upset. The last night they were in Milan, Larsa said of Jody, “He gets so crazy. He doesn’t want us to talk anymore. Yelling over us.” Then Larsa showed the ladies a photo of Jody in Milan.
The photo shown by Larsa had some of the ladies focused on Jody’s eyes. Is the implication that he’s allegedly been enjoying more “A/C” like that odd scene from his birthday party? Perhaps – but throwing around those accusations in front of cameras can be extremely damaging, and costly should he decide to take legal action. Maybe Larsa should watch her step.
