The boatmances have kicked off on Below Deck! It only took a few episodes for several of the crew to get their smooch on. And Kyle Stillie and Solène Favreau were one of the lucky couples. Kyle had been eyeing Solène since the start of the season. But he gave her some space, as his fellow deckhand, Damo Yörg, was interested as well. However, Kyle decided Damo was dunzo, and he made a move on Solène. Now Solène is worried her kiss with Kyle could potentially be a problem.
Solène worries Kyle might want more than a Below Deck boatmance
Kyle and Solène hit it off right away. They are both similar in that they are carefree and just want to have fun. But once the two kissed, now one of them might want to have a more serious relationship than the other. Oop.
During Episode 4, the crew went out to celebrate after one of the longest charters ever. This is where Kyle and Solène found themselves alone. Kyle said, “I wanna kiss you.” After the two kissed, he gushed, “I don’t wanna stop.”
And this is where Solène immediately wanted to put on the brakes. She explained, “I really like kissing ‘Scottish.’ But [it] could be a problem. Men can like me quite easy.” Oh, it’s definitely a problem.
Solène added that she wasn’t looking for a relationship either. After her failed boatmance with Dylan Piérre De Villiers, she wanted to keep things light. She said, “I don’t want to hurt [Kyle], and we work together. So, if it goes bad, it can ruin the entire mood—vibes of the boat. But, for now, I don’t think about that. I just enjoy the kiss.”
Unfortunately for her, it seemed Kyle was already planning their wedding. He confessed, “Very well aware that I fall pretty quickly. She just needs to look at me the right way then that’s it. Love her. She’s mine. F*cking have a problem.” This is going to be one messy season.
