If you haven’t heard, Jax Taylor has been in the doghouse lately. Not just with his ex Brittany Cartwright, but the entire fanbase of The Valley. Based on his on-screen and off-camera actions, people are convinced that he is not fit for TV consumption. In fact, there is a growing petition with over 12,000 signatures wanting him kicked off the show.
Needless to say, his reputation is dwindling by the second. And maybe all of this backlash is getting to him, cause now he is all about saving face. Instead of combating everything Brittany says, he’s no longer giving out excuses.
Jax seems to be finally coming to terms with the mistakes he made in their relationship. He even just exposed a hierarchy that tore their romance apart, thanks to him.
Jax admits having a “superiority complex” over Brittany due to her age
Jax recently got real during an episode of his In the Mind of Jax Taylor podcast. He confessed to his controlling ways with Brittany, and even compared this chaotic behavior to having a “superiority complex”.
“I never wanted to take any accountability for my actions because like I said, I’m older. I know more than you. You don’t know anything. I had that mentality because she was a lot younger than me,” he revealed in the June 26 episode.
The former couple does in fact have nearly 10 years between each other, with Jax being her senior.
Brittany hasn’t addressed his unexpected comments just yet. Time will only tell if this is sincere, authentic Jax talking. After all, there have been rumors nonstop that he might be fired by Bravo any day now. Is this just one Hail Mary to stop that from taking place?
