At the beginning of May, Southern Charm alum Naomie Olindo posted the first photo of her new boyfriend, Billy Haire. Now she’s sharing a little more information.
Last week, Naomie hosted a Q&A session on her Instagram Story. Not only did she dish about her beauty routine, but she shared some details on her new man.
Naomie Olindo reveals how she met Billie Haire
After sharing a photo of them on a boat together, she confessed that she and Billy were “set up by mutual friends.” Previously married to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooks Nader, Billy is a real estate investor.
“Listen to your friends, even if you don’t want to!” she captioned the photo. “They know you better than you think!”
Prior to meeting Billy, Naomie dated Craig Conover for three years before ending their relationship in 2017. Subsequently, she moved to New York City with Metul Shah, until they broke up in 2021 over accusations of his cheating.
After returning to Charleston, Naomie made several appearances on Southern Charm. When asked during her Instagram Q&A if she’d ever return as a regular cast member, she said she wasn’t interested. “I love and support pretty much everyone on the show,” she explained. “It was fun for me until it wasn’t fun, which is why I left.”
Just before Craig got serious with Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo, he and Naomie hooked up one last time during a trip to Las Vegas. But it was not meant to be. There was a reason they ended things in the first place.
“[We’re] definitely better as friends,” Naomie told Us Weekly in 2022 of where she stands with Craig. “We learned so much from each other and from the whole situation that there’s no way either one of us could regret that.”
