There’s an old saying that you’ll find love when you stop looking for it. That’s exactly what happened to The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Phaedra Parks. “I wasn’t even looking for a man,” she confessed. “But honey, he showed up and showed out.”
After meeting Cheick Kone during Married to Medicine Season 11, Phaedra wanted to show him off to her friends. So she invited him to an event on the RHOA Season 16 finale. At the time, she and “Che Che” had only been dating for four months.
Castmate Cynthia Bailey was impressed. “Phaedra[’s] got a cute little boyfriend!” she announced.
Phaedra Parks has “never been happier” than she is with boyfriend Cheick

Apparently, Phaedra and her “little young whippersnapper” are still together, as producers indicated in the finale that “her chocolate prince Che Che is still satisfying her sweet tooth.”
On Bravo’s RHOA After Show, the mom of two confirmed they’re still together. “He’s a sweetheart,” she said. “I’m having fun! … He is the sweetest, kindest, most generous guy in the world.”
Though it sounds like Phaedra has found a keeper, she has no intention of walking down the aisle again. “At this point in my life, I’m not really interested in marriage,” she said in the finale. “I have never been happier. I like to have a good time. You know, I love a good date.”
In addition to being a mom to sons Dylan and Aiden, Phaedra is a successful attorney and funeral director. As an independent woman, she has no need for a husband. “I’m not trying to get married,” she said on the RHOA After Show. “I’ve done that.” Ironically, Cheick is actually acquainted with Phaedra’s ex-husband, Apollo Nida.
“[Remarriage is] not something I’m interested in, because I’m very wealthy,” she told fans at the Bravo Fan Fest in 2024. “I can take care of myself.”
But Cheick may have his own thoughts on the subject. “I’m not necessarily looking for a wife, but I’m open,” he said on Married to Medicine.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
