Is Emily Simpson getting a divorce?
No, Emily Simpson is not getting a divorce from husband Shane Simpson, despite persistent rumors about the RHOC stars.
During the trailer for RHOC Season 19, Emily makes a remark that touches on the seemingly fragile state of her marriage to Shane. While driving in their car, the couple chats about their son, Luke. Luke is “in crisis” mode, as he has grown very sad. However, Emily does not feel like Shane is taking this matter seriously, which causes Emily to cry, exclaiming, “We’re going to end up divorced.”
In the remaining clip of this heated trailer, Shane remains quiet. Cue everyone worrying about the union between Emily and her “little dork” Shane. Thankfully, Emily recently sat down with Access Hollywood. Here, she quickly shut down all divorce narratives.
During filming for RHOC Season 19, Emily and Shane were dealing with how to move forward with their son. So, “When I said [the line in the trailer about a divorce], that was a real concern, because Shane and I were in the trenches during those four months of filming and even afterwards.” This season of life was “brutal on our marriage,” Emily stressed, as she and Shane were not “on the same page. We were parenting differently, [and] we were butting heads,” Emily explained.
Now, Emily is a bit concerned about how much she is sharing this season on RHOC. But overall, Emily felt that it was “important to be authentic and real about what was going on” in her marriage.” Of which, again, remains intact.
