Here’s a different type of American Horror Story. Actress Emma Roberts ran into Real Housewives of New York alum Ramona Singer out in the wild. Apparently, Ramona thought she was a fan and shooed her away, but she did a total 180 once she realized she had snubbed a popular actress.
Ramona Singer made things right with Emma Roberts
Ramona shared the video documenting her interaction with Emma on her Instagram Story. Kudos to Page Six for capturing the since-expired post, where she described the moment she mistook the actress for an innocent RHONY fan.
Ramona began, “So guess who I ran into,” before panning the camera to Emma. “She wanted to say ‘hi’ to me. I said, ‘Not now!’”
Emma said she was a “big fan” of Ramona. Recalling the interaction, Emma added, “She said, ‘Get away! No!’”
Emma proceeded to mimic Ramona by putting her hand up to the camera. It all sounded pretty on-brand for the RHONY alum. Fortunately, her daughter, Avery Singer, is never far from her mom’s side. She quickly sprung into action, informing her mom that she just snubbed a well-known actress.
Avery recalled telling her mom, “You need to immediately go fix it because you have no idea who you just shooed away.”
She continued, “[I said], ‘Excuse me, I really would like to apologize on behalf of my mother.’”
It was all water under the bridge at that point, and Emma said that the three of them are now “BFFs.” It’s just hilarious to think that if this wasn’t an actress, Ramona would have been totally fine with sticking her hand up to someone’s face and shooing them away from her.
Either way, Emma probably wasn’t too taken aback by the bad behavior. After all, plenty of folks have accused her of similarly rude behavior over the years. Just like Ramona, the actress has also been called out by costars for being insensitive to minorities. So, these two might be two peas in a pod.
