On the July 16 episode of Real Housewives of Miami, feuding frenemies Lisa Hochstein and Larsa Pippen agreed to be besties again. That came after a lot of sparring back and forth. In the early episodes of Season 7, Lisa and Larsa continuously threw shade and made accusations at one another. Even right before they made up, Lisa had a mini meltdown in a restaurant bathroom. But by the end of the episode, they were gushing about how much they love each other. How long does this truce last, though? Where do Lisa and Larsa stand today? We’re breaking down this RHOM feud below.

Why did Lisa Hochstein and Larsa Pippen fight on RHOM?

Lisa and Larsa’s feud kicked off at Jody Glidden’s birthday party in the Season 7 premiere. Larsa had beef with both members of the couple because Jody continues to socialize with Larsa’s ex Marcus Jordan. Things got worse in Milan, especially when they were forced to face each other in the van from the airport. Larsa continued to make accusations about Jody, and implied he’s using Lisa because he’s a “social climber.”

Then things between Lisa and Larsa came to a head at Alexia Nepola’s narcissism party (or the “Not About Todd” party). After Stephanie Shojaee called Lisa out for her infamous tardiness, the others ganged up on her a bit in the party game. They all chose Lisa for the most narcissistic traits. Lisa and Larsa once again traded barbs. Lisa claimed she had receipts of Larsa’s lies. But Larsa clapped back, “I am the receipt.” It ended with Lisa running away to cry. Clearly, something had to change for Lisa and Larsa to attend events together.

What caused them to become friends?

Guerdy Abraira and Adriana de Moura forced Larsa and Lisa to sit and talk at the party. However, Guerdy also put herself in as referee, constantly interrupting, Which was hilarious but not super helpful. So Larsa and Lisa decided to talk one-on-one.

The episode ended with their meetup. At first, it didn’t go so well. They fought over Jody’s allegations that Larsa called the paparazzi to document Marcus’ drug use. Larsa said she’s a better friend than Lisa. And that Lisa only wanted to meet up because she has no other friends in the group.

After branding her frenemy a “Larsassist,” Lisa ran to the bathroom and called Alexia. She started sobbing, as the show hilariously cut to a woman awkwardly waiting in the stall. When Lisa continued her phone conversation inside the restaurant, she was so loud a manager asked her to go outside. Meanwhile, Larsa absentmindedly scrolled through TikTok.

When Lisa sat back down, her and Larsa were able to make peace. Larsa apologized for her part, but asked Lisa to accept responsibility for not being a better friend. Lisa did, and said she didn’t realize how Larsa was feeling. She expressed that it’s sometimes hard to see past Larsa’s tough exterior. They agreed they need to do a better job of communicating, but have deep love for one another.

“Some of my best pictures are with you,” Larsa gushed. Which is probably the highest compliment she will give. This moment made for great TV, but did it actually mend Lisa and Larsa’s friendship?

Are Lisa and Larsa still friends today?

For now, it seems like RHOM will pivot to other feuds in the cast. Especially Julia Lemigova versus Guerdy. Alexia and Stephanie are also embarking on the feud we saw in the RHOM Season 7 trailer.

But it’s unclear if Larsa and Lisa’s truce will last. The two didn’t exactly speak highly of one another during their Season 7 press. A few weeks back, Lisa posted a video with some very harsh words for Larsa, though she deleted the post.

After the July 16 episode aired, Lisa appeared on Watch What Happens Live. She didn’t indicate whether or not she and Larsa are truly friends again. However, she did name Larsa as the RHOM cast member who plays victim the most.

And she continues to stand her ground on the Marcus debate. Lisa keeps using the line, “I left a real party for [Marcus and Larsa’s] fake breakup” in interviews. Is this just playful banter between frenemies? Or is it a sign that things between her and Larsa go south again? We’ll have to keep watching to find out.

Real Housewives of Miami is available to stream on Peacock and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
