As we are all aware, we are living in some tough times these days. At least, we have some entertaining TV shows to watch while we are social distancing and staying safe in our homes.
As a result of the coronavirus outbreak, Watch What Happens Live has been filming new episodes via video chat. Andy Cohen hosts from the safety of his New York City apartment. And different guests video chat in from wherever they are. Although it’s great to see the stars glammed up with pounds of hair extensions and self-tanner, this filming from home thing definitely has some advantages. For instance, there are no travel schedules to consider. This means that it is possible to have premium guests every single night.
Bravo viewers always look forward to the Andy Cohen-hosted reunion episodes. There’s just nothing like that level of drama. However, many television productions have halted in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The scheduled reunion for Real Housewives of Atlanta was supposed to happen in March, but it got postponed. Recently, Stassi Schroeder confirmed that the Vanderpump Rules Season 8 reunion was scheduled to film in April, but was also officially postponed. While the viewers can’t help looking forward to those reunions, Andy just had the one reunion he was most excited for (by far): the reunion with his son Benjamin. Following Andy’s positive diagnosis for coronavirus, Andy and Benjamin had been living separately, with Andy watching his son via nanny cam.
Most live talk shows are on a hiatus in response to the Coronavirus outbreak. However, there are some that have just switched things up by filming separately at home via video chat. After a bit of a break, Watch What Happens Live returns tonight. And, yes, Andy Cohen will still be hosting, despite his own Coronavirus diagnosis.
Watch What Happens Live will be taped from the privacy of Andy’s apartment. But he will still have some guests on the episode, also taping remotely from wherever they are quarantining.
During the coronavirus outbreak, some Bravo stars have stepped up to help others. Real Housewives of New York alum Bethenny Frankel donated corona kits and 10,000 face masks. Real Housewives of Dallas star Stephanie Hollman’s spouse, Travis Hollman, decided to pay all of his employees their salaries, while they’re are quarantined at home.
Teddi Mellencamp, who is a cast member on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has pledged to help keep fans accountable by offering free online workouts. If I worked out regularly, that would be fantastic!
Coronavirus does not discriminate. Even the rich and famous can fall victim to the virus. Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen just announced that he tested positive for Coronavirus.
Currently, Vanderpump Rules have been suffering because this entire season has revolved around Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s wedding festivities. We get it: a wedding is a special life milestone. However, pretty much every episode this season has been about the wedding and we still haven’t seen any footage of the actual wedding. Hopefully, we will all be put out of our misery this week. But, something tells me, it will somehow continue into next week’s new episode. Ugh.
Lala Kent’s wedding is coming up in April. Well, hopefully, it is. With the Coronavirus outbreak, many big events have been postponed or canceled. For instance, the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion has been postponed due to Coronavirus. However, Lala thinks she would never get the virus unless God wants to give her “a little publicity for the wedding.” Yes, she actually said that. And, she’s not the only one with Corona-related wedding worries on Vanderpump Rules. Recently, Tom Schwartz expressed concerns about the impact of Coronavirus on Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark’s upcoming wedding in Rome, Italy. It should be noted that their wedding isn’t scheduled until Fall 2020.
Hopefully, all of this Coronavirus madness is resolved way before that. (But, again, we want to emphasize that we understand there are more important things to worry about than weddings and reality TV during this tough time. We are just reporting the news and trying to satiate the craving for reality TV content that our readers may have).
Right now, there are a lot of people social distancing during this Coronavirus madness. One of the best ways to do this is to binge-watch reality TV shows at home. Catching up on TV shows you’ve recorded is one of the few good things to do during these difficult times.
But, what about when the new episodes stop? That just might happen. Andy Cohen and the Real Housewives of Atlanta were supposed to film the Season 12 reunion, but that’s not happening now. As of this moment, it’s been postponed, not canceled.
Who would have thought that we’d see the day when Katie Maloney is on better terms with James Kennedy than she is with Kristen Doute. Well, here we are. It’s not quite clear how we got to this point, but it’s happening.
After James body shamed Katie (multiple times) and she got him fired from SUR, these two are actually friends. Wow. Hopefully, we see this on Vanderpump Rules after the never-ending wedddddin’ finally passes.
