When Andy Cohen welcomed his son, Benjamin Allen Cohen, on February 4, 2019, he knew that his life was going to be forever changed. But, unfortunately, this major life change also had an unintended effect on Andy’s beloved rescue dog, Wacha.
Andy and Wacha were besties for about seven years. There is even a stuffed animal Wacha on the Watch What Happens Live set.
We’re all sick of it. The horrible plague began it’s assault on the world earlier this year and most everyone has been impacted by the virus. The entertainment world basically shut down in an effort to slow the spread. We said good-bye to Broadway and a host of television shows went out of production. As we try to move forward in a safe manner, we are seeing the fallout of such an extraordinary contagion.
Businesses took a very hard hit. If it didn’t close, it might be struggling. Speaking of struggling, Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran, Shereé Whitfield has long touted her fashion line. Those obsessed with on-trend styles and everything Vogue have been waiting years for the official debut of She by Shereé. Now, it’s with a heavy heart that I must report Coronavirus has taken yet another métier. Friends, we must bid adieu to our dreams of a fashion show with no fashion.
Real Housewives of Orange County viewers were witness to many seasons of Shannon Beador’s marital woes with now ex-husband, David Beador. In October of 2015, the couple discussed his cheating in an interview with Bravo host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. Awkward!
Their divorce was even messier than the toxic marriage. The exes finally reached a divorce settlement in April of 2019. Shannon recently revealed that co-parenting with David isn’t going smoothly. Shocker! “He has no interest in co-parenting with me, which is sad,” the RHOC star said.
If you ask anyone about the current season of Below Deck Mediterranean, chances are they will lower their head in despair and talk about what we should have gotten versus what we received. It was a train wreck in every sense and Hannah Ferrier lost her job as a result. On the bright side, Hannah is moments away from giving birth to her first daughter and has the Below Deck Med drama in her rearview.
Captain Sandy Yawn plays favorites. This is more of a fact than an assumption. After labeling bosun Malia White as
gay her “pride and joy”, Sandy bent over backwards in an effort to accommodate Malia’s every whim. What Sandy did not do is accommodate Hannah’s anxiety medication. After failing to clear the meds with her captain, Hannah was relieved of her duties. Now Captain Lee Rosbach weighs in on Sandy’s decision and what he did when faced with a similar situation.
Bravo’s national treasure, Andy Cohen, has been filming episodes of Watch What Happens Live from home because of the coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately, in March Andy announced that he tested positive for Covid-19.
Andy’s diagnosis meant that he had to stay separated from his adorable son, Benjamin Allen Cohen. Ben was born via surrogate on February 4, 2019.
As I sat down for this week’s episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, I had one distinctly iconic Bravo-ism flash through my mind. “Please don’t let it be about Tom.” I just couldn’t handle the thought of having to sit through another week of Chef Tom Checketts‘ temper tantrums and histrionics taking center stage. I’ve ranted about them. I’ve railed against them. I’ve written about them ad naseum for what feels like the entire back half of the season now. And the Bravo gods seemed to hear my plaintive cries because, for the first time in Bravo history, it wasn’t about Tom.
Instead, we were treated to a full hour of Jessica More and Rob Westergaard‘s boatmance completely unraveling in the space of a single day. We’ve known since the pair’s first appearances on Watch What Happens Live that this was coming. But as the season inched toward its end, I was starting to wonder when we’d see the sinking of the ship rather than just the iceberg from 100 miles away. Err, kilometers? Knots? Whatever the unit of distance between ships and icebergs is to complete this apt metaphor for the couple’s doomed love affair.
NeNe Leakes has been a Real Housewives staple for years. I think it’s safe to say she put Real Housewives in general on the map. And she truly made Real Housewives of Atlanta one of the best housewives franchises, period.
But all good things must come to an end. That includes NeNe’s ability to bring anything to the show. She may have started as one of the best housewives, but I don’t think she ended that way. Even after coming back from a break from season 9 couldn’t get her back on track. NeNe had no story line and was no longer the fun loving cast member that we had come to know and love.
You are cordially invited to witness the finest performance 2020 has blessed us with. Please don your pearls to clutch and your hankies to weep into. The saga of NeNe Leakes’ controversial departure from Real Housewives of Atlanta continues. As you know, NeNe will not be returning to the show that made her famous. SHE DEFINITELY WAS NOT FIRED, but there seems to be some speculation it was not her choice to leave.
NeNe’s farewell has been filled with strife. With claims of mistreatment and being “forced out” by Bravo, NeNe is not going gentle into that good night. After former friend Wendy Williams appeared on Watch What Happens Live, NeNe was unable to prevent the unleashing of her full wrath. Lobbing accusations of racism at Andy Cohen one way, hurling personal insults at Wendy another, NeNe ripped off what was left of her filter and scorched her previous relationships. What else is left for NeNe to do, as a consequence of her actions? Cry about it.
