Welcome back! This week on Below Deck Season 12 Episode 9, the most dramatic charter guests of the season are coming aboard. They will be met with exhausted, yet somewhat rested crew members, as last week, their yachtie love triangle involving far too many people was all anyone could talk about during their villa vacation. Minus Anthony, who finally spoke with Fraser about his frustrations over his firing last season. Here is everything that happened in Below Deck Season 12 Episode 9, “A Holiday in Handcuffs.”
What happened in Below Deck Season 12 Episode 9?
Hormones have entered the narrative. However, Solène is still doing her best to keep those whom she first claimed, like Jess, much to the chagrin of Bárbara and her second boatmance partner, Kyle. However, their antics pale in comparison to their current charter guests. One of whom might find herself in a pair of handcuffs, since her actions are now proving a liability for all onboard.
Bárbara is feeling Jess, until Solène swims over

Bárbara and Jess continue kissing by the pool at their beach club. Bárbara has not “been with another gay girl for so long.” Therefore, she feels excited about where this might lead.
Across the pool, Kyle tells Solène that her flirtatious interactions with Jess have left him feeling burned. So, he’s no longer trying to kiss or cuddle. Solène has now lost Kyle and Jess! Maybe…
Over lunch in their cabana, Anthony states that he feels good about his talk with Fraser. He’s ready to move forward. Back in the pool, Solène tells Damo, from the comfort of his arms, that she also wants to move forward with Jess. But Jess is now with Bárbara, so what is a girl to do?
She can do Damo, Damo suggests. They kiss in the water to celebrate this idea as Jess, Kyle, and a nearby tourist in a purple shirt look on. After heavily tipping their waitress, the crew crowds into their sprinter vans and head back to their villa.
Once they arrive, Damo hugs Kyle, who, at first, pulls slightly away from the man who just kissed his crush. Damo knows he messed up. Yet, he doesn’t think that Kyle would have behaved any differently, were he wearing his same “selfish era” shoes.
Knowing she looks hot, Solène, wearing a skin-tight and see-through white dress, jumps into their private pool. Jess and Kyle take the bait and watch. Solène swims to Jess and kisses her as Damo watches. Bárbara tells Fraser that she does “not have time for this,” as Jess, who knows she looks “like a tosser,” takes Solène back to her room for a shared shower.
Jess realizes that her actions were harmful to Bárbara

Jess and Bárbara wordlessly set their table for dinner. As the crew eats, Jess and Solène kiss again. Solène is her Kryptonite, Jess admits. If looks could kill, Bárbara might get arrested.
In his room, Kyle lies naked and asleep. Damo covers his junk, admitting to Hugo that he was a bad friend to Kyle. In her confessional, Bárbara cries, hating how this love triangle is making her feel.
With only five hours left before their charter guests board, the crew heads back to the yacht. During their preference sheet meetings, we learn that co-primaries are coming onboard. Helen Hoey owns a lingerie company, and Richard Fiore is a semi-retired real estate investor, Fraser explains.
Six seasons ago, both these characters took a spin on Below Deck, and Helen was handsy beyond belief with the then-chef and captain. Nevertheless, Bárbara, while inspecting their images, tells Captain Kerry that a guest named Kelly Furey looks to be their future problem child.
In the cabins, Fraser checks in on Bárbara. He doesn’t understand what Sol OR Jess is doing. Neither does Bárbara, who pulls Jess to the sundeck for a chat. Is this Love Island? Bárbara thinks Jess lied to her, and Jess apologizes, finally realizing her actions were hurtful.
A drunk charter guest creates chaos that only the police can fix

The guests come aboard. They give Bárbara a “bad feeling.” During their bridge crossing, Richard wanders, ignoring the safety lesson Fraser taught him. Captain Kerry shoos him away as their yacht veers towards the bridge.
Thankfully, they avoid crashing, but Bárbara was right. Kelly is drunk, wanting to ride the water toys. Fraser reminds her that she cannot be intoxicated for this, to which Kelly replies, “You don’t know our tolerance,” while ordering another drink.
Kelly announces that she is going on the Banana Boat. Captain Kerry receives permission from Helen to cut her off before following Kelly to the swim platform. Here, the crew tries wrangling a life vest onto Kelly. But Kelly jumps into the water, making Jess swim after her.
“Come chase me,” Kelly yells. Finally, she climbs back onboard, where Captain Kerry tells her that he will call the authorities to remove her unless she listens to him. The deck team forms a wall, pushing Kelly inside. As Kelly fights back, Captain Kerry ends her charter.
Looking in the camera, the drunk dolphin declares her hatred for these “asshole,” “Democrat” yachties. Kelly further states that her family is FBI, to which Captain Kerry announces he is the only authority who matters. Captain Kerry calls the Dock Master, who calls local officers.
Hugo picks the officers up at the dock as Damo locks Kelly into a room. Trying for one last Hail Mary, her friends encourage Kelly to exit the boat with the police, or her arrest will follow. NATURALLY, the words TO BE CONTINUED roll on the screen.
Below Deck continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
