Summer House fans doubted that Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard could film the show together after their shock split. But they did. And the formerly betrothed couple even managed to be friendly to one another while under the same roof.
So is there a chance that Carl and Lindsay could be friends again? They have a longer history as friends than lovers, having filmed Summer House together since Season 1. Perhaps there is potential for friendship. The Soft Bar founder is certainly optimistic.
Carl Radke is “promoting positivity” with Lindsay Hubbard
The Summer House star spoke about his ex-fiancée during an appearance on the Julia Cunningham Show.
“I’m never one to want to close the door fully. I mean, there’s so much history between us. There’s so much love, or at least from my side, just with, we’ve had a lot of fun together and the experiences we’ve had over the last 10 years filming a TV show, the car rides back and forth, the small little jokes, the little inside moments, those are always gonna bond and tether us,” Carl said.
He believes there “is an opportunity to be friendlier” as time passes and Lindsay “continues to move on and date other people.” Right now, the Bravolebrity labeled their interaction as “cordial.” He even met her daughter Gemma.
Julia suggested that the potential is there “maybe one day.” Carl agreed, “I’m just promoting positivity with her. ‘How’s Gemma doing? How’s everything,’ and just keep it moving and keep it positive, but we went through a pretty difficult situation regardless of being on TV or not, but then that all being amplified, which I know we signed up for many years ago, and I’m grateful for being able to be a part of this, but reliving it all was one of the harder things I didn’t anticipate. Going through it for real when it did happen, and then seven months later, it’s now airing again. It was a lot.”
