Andy Cohen isn’t mincing his words. He’s not thrilled with Martina Navratilova’s comments against surrogacy. The proud father of two made it well-known during the latest episode of his radio show.
The former tennis pro raised eyebrows last month when she shared on social media that she felt like surrogacy was “wrong.” Real Housewives of Miami fans quickly called her out, and she deleted the tweet. However, that doesn’t mean we’re done talking about it.
Andy Cohen wasn’t impressed by Martina Navratilova’s surrogacy remarks

During the August 5 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, a listener asked Andy for his reaction to Martina’s controversial statements about surrogacy. He asked Julia about it on Watch What Happens Live, but Andy finally shared his own thoughts on the subject. He also revealed whether or not he’ll have the chance to address Martina at the reunion.
“Well, I asked Julia about this on Watch What Happens Live. Julia and I have discussed this offline,” Andy began.
“Martina will not be at the Miami reunion, so I will not be asking Martina about this,” he continued. “I’m sure it will come up again at the Miami reunion because, guess what? I believe Lisa Hochstein had major complications with her last pregnancy and possibly needed to use [a surrogate].”
Although Andy won’t be speaking to Martina about the surrogacy comments, he did pose a follow-up question to Julia following her WWHL appearance. According to Julia, Martina’s comments were taken out of context, and Andy pointed out how little sense that made by reading Martina’s post out loud.
“Surrogacy is just wrong. Sometimes you can’t have it all,” Andy continued, reading Martina’s since-deleted post. “Well, here’s the deal. That’s just ill-informed and dumb. And yes, we will talk about it at the reunion.”
The Real Housewives of Miami airs on Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
