Project Runway Alum Kenley Collins Calls Andy Cohen ‘The Gay Harvey Weinstein’

Season 21 of Project Runway premiered last week, and that seems to have triggered something in Kenley Collins. The designer, who appeared on Project Runway Season 5 and Project Runway All Stars Season 1, shared a series of fiery rants, slamming the show and everyone involved. While airing out her grievances, she specifically called out Andy Cohen, and she shockingly compared him to convicted sex predator Harvey Weinstein.

Project Runway contestant Kenley Collins goes after Andy Cohen and the show’s production

Kenley’s attack on Project Runway started with an August 1 Instagram post, the day after Season 21’s two-part premiere. In her initial video, she called out the show for treating contestants poorly and compared their working conditions to a “sweatshop.” She also complained about how designers from her era of the show got thrown under the bus when The Weinstein Company folded and caused Project Runway to be acquired by Bravo.

“I did not sign on at 24 years old to streaming networks selling my season 200 times over for $200 million. That wasn’t a thing back then, and it just seems so wrong,” Kenley explained.

She brought up some valid points, but in a follow-up video shared two days later, things took a darker turn. She set her sights on Andy and claimed that he was a nightmare producer and a “predator” on set.

“Andy Cohen was disgusting, horrible, worst, predator with the gays, hopping around the set like, ‘Hey Twinks!” Kenley recalled.

The Project Runway star alum proceeded to claim that she saw Andy “propositioning designers to have a threesome,” and she mimicked how he would call guys into his office. Then, she compared him to Harvey.

“We called you ‘The Gay Weinstein,’ acting like a f*cking clown on set.” Kenley continued.

Later in the video, Kenley referenced the ongoing court cases that have called out Andy’s behavior. After all, NBCU’s lawyers are in court right now fending off claims from former Housewife Leah McSweeney. According to Kenley, they might be fighting a losing battle.

“NBC can pay all the money in the world to cover your ass after NeNe [Leakes] spoke the truth about you,” Kenley continued. “You’re a racist predator. You’re finished.”

Reality Tea has reached out to NBCU representatives for comment.

Project Runway airs every Thursday on Freeform and is available to stream the next day on Hulu.
