Kristin Chenoweth wants to make Andy Cohen a Broadway star. The multi-talented TV, film and theater actress/singer “needs” Andy to be in her new Broadway musical. Wait, does Andy sing?
Certainly, Kristin has long been a fan of reality television. She reportedly briefly dated The Bachelor Season 14’s Jake Pavelka. (Ew.) Also, she definitely had feelings about Scandoval.
Meanwhile, she wants to do a crossover between the worlds of reality TV and Broadway by bringing in The Real Housewives executive producer. “I need your help,” she begged. “We need you to be in the show!”

In a “surprise pop-in” on the August 5 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Kristin implored Andy. “We need to film a scene,” she asked. “[Could you] do that?”
When Andy said he “would be so honored,” Kristin was beside herself. “I’m so excited!” she gushed.
Apparently, Kristin had asked Andy to be in her new musical, The Queen of Versailles, years ago. The show is rumored to be something of a “Housewives of Broadway” style show; hence Andy would be a great fit.
“The problem is, we couldn’t get what we wanted,” Andy explained. “As you know, you’re not allowed to shoot in the theaters.”
But as the Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress reminded him, the rules have changed. “I think that might be different now because I think the business is different,” she said. After all, television audiences have enjoyed both Hamilton and Good Night, and Good Luck in recent years.
Furthermore, Kristin promised, “I could get some gold for you.”
“Yes, oh sh*t,” Andy exclaimed, tempted by the prospect of cash. “Is that a threat or a promise?”
“It’s a challenge,” she laughed.
