Another day, another candid video from Bethenny Frankel. The Real Housewives of New York alum certainly keeps things real and her social media is a fun chronicle of her daily life, thoughts, and opinions. This time, the entrepreneur talked about how hostile people can be in an airport.
Who doesn’t love Bethenny’s social media updates? They can range from important topics like how to help California wildfire victims to hilarious ones like her getting trapped in the bathroom. Either way, you know she’s not going to hold back. This time, she talked about being ready to throw down while in line at the airport.
Bethenny Frankel had someone try to “plow” past in the airport
In this social media update, Bethenny talked about how an impatient traveler at the airport tried to “plow past her” in line. She recounted the experience she had while waiting to board a flight with her daughter, Bryn Hoppy. The two likely fly a lot together these days since they traded the concrete city for palm trees in Florida.
“You know what my favorite thing is at the airport,” Bethenny started. “When you have to lean down to get something, like maybe you have to get your driver’s license, and there’s a big line. And then the person behind you decides to just plow past you to get one spot ahead of you.”
Her daughter looked over at the woman, and Bethenny shared that she looked right at her and said, “Hi. Is everything okay?” The question was laced with an undercurrent of tension. “She thought she was going to plow past me because I made the mistake of kneeling to get my boarding pass,” Bethenny added.
The Skinnygirl founder pointed out that people can be hostile at the airport. But that didn’t mean she was just going to take it. Bethenny was more than willing to hit back if need be (not surprising TBH). “Yeah, if that’s kind of morning, I’ll throw down,” she said.
“People are a little hostile. Myself included,” she related. She even said that one time she told herself that she was going to “body check” someone at the airport because that was the kind of mood she was in that day.
Moral of the story? Don’t try to cut Bethenny in line at the airport, or anywhere else probably.
Real Housewives of New York is available to stream on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
