Keep Brandi Glanville in your thoughts. As she continues to look for answers regarding her facial disfigurement, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum admitted that she’s hit rock bottom. Ongoing joblessness coupled with mounting medical debt is taking an emotional toll on her, and she recently admitted that she’s at her “lowest.”
Brandi Glanville’s health battles have got her feeling worse than ever before
If you’ve been following Brandi’s story, then you know she contracted a mystery ailment in her face that has caused ongoing discomfort and disfigurement. It all started shortly after returning home from filming the Morocco edition of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
Since then, Brandi has spent over $100,000 trying to find a remedy. She’s also been battling sexual assault allegations, which also stemmed from her ill-fated RHUGT adventure. In a new interview with Us Weekly, Brandi said she has “PTSD” from the entire ordeal.
“I’ve never felt suicidal before, like I didn’t want to be here, and if it wasn’t for my kids, I don’t know that I would be here,” Brandi admitted.
Brandi is experiencing classic signs of depression. She shared that she’s spent some days “sleeping until 5 pm.” There have been some days when she felt like she “couldn’t get out of bed” at all. She’s battling a combination of pain from the mystery ailment and anxiety from her money woes.
“I’m just paying the minimum on everything, my credit cards. I’ve exhausted my savings. At my age, I feel like such a loser in a way,” she continued in the emotional interview.
The one silver lining in Brandi’s life right now is her new infectious disease specialist, Dr. Michael Scoma. He diagnosed her with a persistent bacterial and fungal infection and inserted a PICC line to deliver nonstop antibiotics. He predicted that she could see improvement in the coming weeks. That’s the glimmer of hope that Brandi needs right now.
“I can handle more than I thought, but I also have to take care of up here,” Brandi said, pointing to her head.
She continued, “It’s just a juggling act, and I’m finally talking to people about it because I finally feel like I’m in good hands with Dr. Michael Scoma.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills streams on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
