Jana Duggar’s family is growing! The 19 Kids and Counting alum is expecting her first baby with hubby Stephen Wissmann. She shared the news on social media and shared her excitement at welcoming their bundle of joy.
Jana and Stephen’s first baby is joining an already large and pretty complicated family. While this baby is their first, it’s hardly the first grandchild. Looks like the more the merrier is still the family motto.

The eldest daughter (second eldest child) in the Duggar family took to social media to share her exciting news. Jana posted a few maternity photos taken by her sister-in-law.
“We are so excited,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family. We are counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!”
The photos show Jana and her husband, Stephen, outdoors, showing off her growing baby bump. The announcement comes just three days after the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary, a milestone Stephen was also sure to commemorate.
He posted a slideshow of throwback photos from their wedding on his social media. “I know this is a day late, but yesterday I was SO blessed to celebrate one year of life and marriage with my best friend,” Stephen wrote. “Thru the ups and downs, life with you only keeps getting better and better! Love you more than ever!”
Jana did the same on her Instagram with a fun reel of their life together. “Love this journey with My Love!” she shared. “Here’s to many more years to come!!” Many more years of love and parenthood knocking to boot!
Looks like everything is better in Duggar land. It was a rocky time for a while with Jana’s brother Josh Duggar’s crimes and the subsequent Amazon documentary that showcased it all. At least now, she can focus on the positive and her little growing family.
