Teddi Mellencamp is once again being honest about her health struggles.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has shared the ups and downs of her melanoma battle for more than two years. It began with a small spot on her back in 2022, and since then, she’s gone through 17 surgeries along with radiation and immunotherapy.
Earlier this year, she revealed the cancer had spread to both her lungs and brain. Now, she’s sharing what daily life feels like while dealing with endless appointments.
Teddi Mellencamp feels like she’s constantly at the doctor’s office

On August 21, Teddi filmed a short video from inside yet another exam room. Wearing a paper gown, she sighed and admitted, “At this point, I feel like I live in doctors’ offices.”
She tried to keep it encouraging, adding, “Here we go. Go get your checks everyone — for all the things. All the appointments. It’s worth it.”
For Teddi, that advice is personal. Even while juggling stage 4 treatments, she recently had another melanoma spot removed. She spoke about it on her podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, with her close friend, Tamra Judge.
“This is a reminder that even if you have lung cancer, brain cancer, whatever, you still need to continue to get your skin checked, because yesterday I went to get a skin check and I had an abnormal spot,” she told listeners. “They removed it, they’re sending it in to get checked and make sure it’s nothing.”
She admitted it can feel overwhelming, especially with everything else going on. “You’re like, ‘Oh I’m getting checked,’ but no, you gotta remember, go get your skin checks even if you’re in treatment for something else.” In the midst of all of this, she’s also been navigating a divorce and a recent attempted burglary at her home.
Still, she’s trying to stay positive. “The good news for me — what I’m telling myself — means it’s okay, it’s in a new spot. All of my original melanomas were on my back and this new spot is on my stomach. I just wanted to remind you guys because I hadn’t gone in about six months for a particular skin check.”
Teddi’s willingness to share these updates shows she isn’t just fighting for her own life. She’s hoping others catch things early, before they become much bigger battles.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills streams on Peacock. Viewers in the UK and Ireland can watch on Hayu.
