Meghan Markle has returned to our screens with a new season of her hit Netflix show. And while the Duchess of Sussex is clearly a natural in front of the camera, it seems husband Prince Harry is keen to give it a miss this time around.
Prince Harry made a brief cameo in With Love, Meghan Season 1
Meghan Markle is cooking, crafting, chatting and being an all-round hostess with the mostess in the new season of With Love, Meghan. However, anyone tuning in for a glimpse of Prince Harry will be sorely disappointed. Harry made a short appearance in the first season of the show, joining the brunch in the last episode. Now, he’s made the decision to leave the spotlight on his wife.
A source told People: “Whenever Harry visited set, he was always super polite and friendly, but it was clear he wanted this to be Meghan’s moment to shine.”
Still, there are a few other famous faces featuring on the show. Chrissy Teigen joins the Duchess for a crafting session, during which Meghan clears up a crazy rumor. And Queer Eye’s Tan France also stops by to sweetly declare her dried flower sprinkles “the gayest shit I’ve seen in a long time.”
Meghan and Harry famously stepped away from the British monarchy in 2020. They’ve been raising children Archie and Lilibet in Montecito, California. But the filming for the show took place in a rental property. Meghan explained that she wanted to keep their own home a sanctuary for their family:
“I wanted to protect that safe haven. We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments — putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day. Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!”
