Vanderpump Rules stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have come a long way. The couple just tied the knot in Kentucky. The wedding happened in spite of a host of obstacles (some self-imposed by Jax himself), including the passing of Jax’s father. They even sweetly saved a seat for Jax’s dad at the ceremony.
Determined to prove they have weathered the worst of their collective past, the couple went all out for the big day. Brittany’s ring was modeled after Princess Diana and Meghan Markle’s rings. They also married in a castle modeled after Windsor Castle. Every person they ever met (except Billie Lee) was invited to the nuptials, including John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. Even though the couple has only been married a few weeks, they have been vocal about having baby fever since before the big day.
It’s official, Vanderpump Rules fans– Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are hitched! The couple made it official on June 29 and got married at the Kentucky Castle. Nearly every Pumps Rules star was at the wedding. Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval performed “best men” duties, while Lala’s fiancé, Randall Emmett, and SUR manager Peter Madrigal stood up for Jax. Katie Maloney attended Brittany as her matron of honor. Lala Kent, Ariana Madix, Scheana Marie, Stassi Schroeder and Kristin Doute served as members of the bridal party. Other Bravo guests included former Summer House stars Stephen McGee and Lauren Wirkus and Southern Charm star Shep Rose.
John Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, are such fans of the show that they were invited to the wedding. Alas, the superstars didn’t attend. Can you imagine if they had been there, and John serenaded the couple at their reception?
It’s no secret that Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are Vanderpump Rules superfans. Both of them constantly tweet about their obsession. The couple also appeared opposite the cast on an episode of Family Feud. Plus, Chrissy is the only most famous person to care about Meemaw’s Beer Cheese. Who could ever forget the couple singing the show’s theme song on Watch What Happens Live!?
This level of super-fandom has even made Chrissy Kyle Richards’ top choice to join the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s safe to say that many Bravolebrities view Chrissy as a huge step up from everyone they know friend. So much so that she and John are invited to Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s wedding!
There is no question that Dorinda Medley is living her best life right now on Real Housewives of New York. She managed to put her differences with cabaret star Luann de Lesseps in her rear view. Last season Dorinda drunkenly heckled Luann at Luann’s cabaret debut by screaming “Jovani! Jovani!” So, Luann banned Dorinda from Barbara Kavovit’s clam bake.
When Dorinda once again hosted the ladies at her home in the Bezerkshires, she graciously accepted Countess Luann’s list of requirements. Dorinda arranged yoga and a massage for Luann. When Luann had a temper tantrum because she didn’t want to sleep in the infamous fish room, Dorinda plopped Barbara in the room instead. Dorinda spent $250,000 to display these taxidermy fishes. Don’t these ladies realize how hard Dorinda worked at making this room nice?
Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes “MJ” Javid has had quite the rollercoaster ride before, during, and after her pregnancy. First, she and her husband, Tommy Feight, went through IVF to get pregnant. Soon after, she was put on mandatory bed rest where she tweeted with Chrissy Teigen to pass the time.
After that MJ almost had a miscarriage and was back on bed rest. Thankfully she got better, but then had to deal with “fans” on social media claiming she wasn’t really pregnant. Well, she proved the haters wrong when she recently gave birth to her baby boy Shams. Now MJ has come forward to talk about what happened to her right after his birth.
Being a Bravo superfan is a very major commitment. Even being a Real Housewives fan takes up a lot of time. There are so many different episodes of each show with a rotating door of Housewives. There’s just a lot to keep up with and that’s just as a fan.
Imagine going from a Bravo fan to Bravolebrity. It’s happened before. Denise Richards was a well-known Bravo viewer before she joined Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She’s far from the only one who went from viewer to cast member. There’s no doubt that it will happen again at some point. In fact, Kyle Richards wants Chrissy Teigen to become a Real Housewife. That sounds like a dream come true, doesn’t it? Chrissy just might be the biggest Real Housewives fan of them all.
Chrissy Teigen is the ultimate Vanderpump Rules super fan. She sang the show’s theme song on Watch What Happens Live with her husband John Legend. Chrissy even tweeted that she would, “start hanging out in the alley of SUR, sitting on the abandoned motorcycle just to watch pump rules live.”
Chrissy summed up her love for the show in one epic tweet. She wrote, “Vanderpump Rules is the best show in television history and if you disagree you are garbage.” That tweet never gets old. It’s hard to believe, but life just got even better for this Pump Rules super fan.
The last season of Shahs of Sunset focused on several storylines involving Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Tommy Feight. One being the preparation of their wedding, and two being their journey on starting a family. The wedding ended up being absolutely beautiful, and was as colorful as the couple is themselves.
Only MJ could pull off thanking her guests for being at the wedding as she walked down the aisle. She even told Tommy to “shut the f*ck up” during their vows. True love is a beautiful thing.
