The Golden Bachelor Season 2 is almost here! Soon we’ll get to watch the newest golden bachelor, Mel Owens, try to find his soulmate. But who will be the lucky lady? Well, fans can begin speculating because the cast has been revealed. Mel will have 23 women to meet and sweep off their feet. Meet the 23 women vying for love on The Golden Bachelor Season 2
For those new to the show, the Golden Bachelor is a “celebration of the golden years.” This year’s hopeless romantic is Mel, a former NFL player turned lawyer. Now Mel has 23 lovely ladies to pick from to potentially be his partner.
PEOPLE reported all the details on each of the cast members, who are all over the age of 60. Which will be interesting, as Mel got in some hot water for sharing his ideal “age range was 45 to 60.” Oop.
Mel could hit it off with Alexandra, a luxury yacht sales rep. And she doesn’t seem to be shy, as it’s noted she “proposed to her first husband.” Then there’s Carla, who is adventurous and “went on a solo safari in Tanzania.”
Carol, who sounds like a stan of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Lisa Barlow, “drinks more Diet Coke than water.” I love that. Monica B. is a flight attendant who is looking for someone to “explore the world” with. While Monica P. likes to stay on the ground and “ride a skateboard.”
Mylene has a baller lifestyle. She “speaks four languages fluently and works as a multilingual VIP host in Vegas’ top casinos.” If Mel is looking for someone who can cook a healthy meal, he might like Nicolle. She went to culinary school and “has been a vegan for 19 years.”
In their intro video, the ladies noted, “It’s always the right time to find love and live happily ever after.” We’ll have to wait and see if that will be the case for Mel and one of these ladies.
Golden Bachelor Season 2 premieres on Wednesday, September 24th, at 8/7c on ABC.
