Fans have been impatiently waiting to learn more about Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars. The casting rumors were wild and somewhat concerning. However, I’m happy to say that the new crop of DWTS contestants is diverse, interesting, and sure to bring the heat to the ballroom.
Mirrorball champ Alfonso Ribeiro is returning to co-host along with former DWTS judge and pro, Julianne Hough. And our three judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli, are ready to pass judgment on the new competitors. This season even brings us a new pro dancer, Jan Ravnik, who is fresh from Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour.
What is the Dancing with the Stars premiere date in 2025?

Dancing with the Stars returns in 2025 with a premiere date of Tuesday, September 16, at 8/7c.
Influencer Alix Earle and conservationist Robert Irwin were announced as Season 34 cast members earlier this summer, along with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt.
Olympic medalist Jordan Chiles is also in the mix, along with the winner of The Traitors, Dylan Efron. Comedian Andy Richter is ready to get down, as is actor Corey Feldman, and Alec Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin. Plus, Scott Hoying of Pentatonix and actress Danielle Fishel will also samba into the ballroom, among others.
As far as the pros, Gleb Savchenko did return, even though he stated that he would not be part of this season. And fan favorite Mark Ballas came out of retirement to once again pursue another Mirrorball.
Right now, it looks like Dylan and his partner, Daniella Karagach, could be early favorites to win, along with Whitney and Mark. And Jordan and her partner, Ezra Sosa, make a strong case that they could win the whole season.
Dancing with the Stars Season 34 will premiere on Tuesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It will stream on Hulu the next day.
