Just like the weather, the alliances and friendships on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are always changing. Right now, it seems like Heather Gay and Meredith Marks aren’t on the same page.
Meredith recently hinted in an interview that Season 6 would expose some of the shifting alliances. She also claimed that some of her castmates tried to sabotage her friendship with Lisa Barlow. Heather responded, and she thinks Meredith’s perspective is “100% BS.”
Meredith Marks hit back at Heather Gay’s comment on Instagram
Ahead of the RHOSLC Season 6 premiere, Meredith did an interview on the Gabbing with Gibson podcast. He asked how the new season stood apart from the previous seasons. While reflecting on her icy journey with her fellow Housewives, her answer got a little shady.
“I think what sets [Season 6] apart for me is that I’ve been around the block several times now, I feel like every time I pick up some new information and learn some more about all of the women and understand more about how they’re wired and what some of the objectives may be,” Meredith began.
“A simple example is me and Lisa,” Meredith continued. “We had a falling out, and I think that a lot of that falling out occurred because of things that were being said to us that weren’t necessarily always true, and a lot of gas being poured on the fire.”
Of course, Lisa famously dragged Meredith in a humiliating hot mic moment. It took a while for their friendship to recover. Now, Meredith said they’re intentionally working to prevent outside forces from meddling in their relationship.
Meredith said, “When we came to a real resolution, Lisa and I, we agreed we’re not letting anyone do that again, and you’ll see, people make a lot of attempts because I think they don’t like us together.”
“I think we’re too strong together, and it’s too powerful,” Meredith continued. “Sorry.”
Underneath the post, Heather chimed in with a comment, making it clear that she wasn’t buying what Meredith was selling. The “Bad Mormon” simply wrote, “100% BS.”
A little bit more context from Heather would have been wonderful. Either way, she’s clearly not vibing with Meredith’s message. However, Meredith ultimately got the last word with a follow-up comment.
“My thoughts don’t need your approval,” Meredith replied.
It’s going to be a long, messy season.
