Following the disastrous group trip to Palm Springs last season, Bronwyn Newport’s husband Todd Bradley made a big decision. He decided to no longer engage with the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
On the September 23 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Bronwyn told Andy Cohen that her husband will “no longer socialize with the women.” Furthermore, during her WWHL appearance, Todd remained in the green room, rather than sitting in the audience.
“Most Househusbands, they want to be in that front row,” Andy noted. “Much respect for Todd for staying out of the fray tonight,” to which Bronwyn responded, “I mean, can you blame him?”
Todd Bradley won’t “socialize with the women” on RHOSLC
Even though Todd is staying out of the drama, Lisa Barlow just can’t resist drawing him back into it. At a party, Bronwyn and Lisa got into another yelling match after Heather Gay spilled the beans about the RV trip. She said Bronwyn brought up Lisa’s lawsuits, which Lisa was not happy about.
Subsequently, Lisa called Bronwyn a “gout d*ck sucker.” The term befuddled Angie Katsanevas, along with the rest of us. “Wait,” she asked in a confessional, “doesn’t gout have to do with your feet?”
“I’m telling you what’s public record, and now I’m a d*ck sucker?” Brownyn responded.
“You were a d*ck sucker before. That’s how you have clothes,” Lisa said, but Bronwyn fired back, “No, Lisa. My husband pays for my clothes.”
However, Lisa wasn’t done throwing insults. She even brought up Bronwyn’s previous confessions of Todd’s infidelity.
“I’m in a marriage. I’ve had ups and downs,” Bronwyn argued. “Anybody here who’s been married has had ups and downs. That’s not going to change the facts.”
Despite their ups and downs, the couple is in a great place these days. In March, they celebrated the anniversary of the day they met. “Eleven years ago, on March 11, 2014, I met the love of my life!” Bronwyn wrote on Instagram. “Today’s celebration before he left for a meeting in NYC, last year in Palm Springs, and then just some of my fav photos of the two of us over the years together.”
Oddly enough, Bronwyn was first introduced to the RHOSLC ladies in Season 5 as a close friend of Lisa’s. But viewers watched the relationship crumble to the point of no return as the season progressed.
“Something has gone wrong between Lisa and I since I’ve been introduced to the group,” Bronwyn said during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 After Show. “Something that I did early on … upset Lisa. And Lisa’s a punisher. She punishes people.”
Meanwhile, things got so bad that at the Season 5 RHOSLC reunion, Bronwyn told Lisa, “We’re not friends. We’re never going to be friends.”
