Next week, Aesha Scott will return to her chief stew position on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10. Known for her solid work ethic, wit, and childlike charm, Aesha is a Bravo gift that keeps on giving. So, Reality Tea got Aesha on the line for a quick chat ahead of the premiere episode, where we learned the absolute best news possible: Season 10 is not like any of its recent predecessors, because there are zero “toxic gross” storylines within.
Instead, Below Deck Med Season 10 contains many “real-life” narratives. Due to this, Aesha believes that the “viewers will really enjoy going on this journey” with her new crew. Here’s everything Aesha had to say about this new season.
Did Aesha earn enough tip money on Below Deck Med Season 10?
In between seasons, Scott Dobson proposed to Aesha, who happily said “yeyassssss.” Shortly after, they purchased their first home together in New Zealand, their “hometown.” This area is also where their wedding will take place in “March of next year,” Aesha explained. And this is why, in the trailer for Season 10, Aesha joked about the prices of home renovations, stressing that she needed to earn all of the tip money this season.
So, did she? “On average, our tips are really good this season. But I always find it disappointing when I watch the show, and I see people being disappointed in their tips,” Aesha said, because “at the end of the day, like, it’s all free money, like extra money.”
“Even if someone gave me a hundred bucks, I would be stoked, because it’s more than what I thought I was gonna get, you know?” But thankfully, Aesha earned everything that she needed this season. So now, “all the walls are painted” in her new home with Scott. “And we put new carpet and new curtains, so the house is looking very nice.”
Finally, Aesha has a solid interior team this season on Below Deck Med

In seasons past, Aesha has struggled with certain crew members in her department. But this season, Kizzi Kitchener and Victoria “V” SanJuan are joining her team. And according to Aesha, these girls are “amazing.”
Regarding V, “She’s pretty green. She didn’t really know a lot, to be honest. But she had such a good attitude, and she was such a hard worker. Anything she did, she threw herself into it and was really determined to learn how to do it as quickly as possible. So she was actually fine being green because she had such a good attitude,” Aesha detailed.
“And then Kizzie, oh my god, she was amazing, like right from when she walked in. She just had this energy about her that I knew that everything would be okay. She’s got such good common sense, she’s super capable, and she’s just one of those stews that I never had to watch over.”
Overall, the interior department shines this season on Below Deck Med. However, Aesha “can’t say the same for the deck team.” When Season 10 starts, Captain Sandy Yawn will receive communications from two of these crew members. These messages will threaten to derail their entire first charter.
“Two of them come on late because of food poisoning. Then Nathan [Gallagher’s] got two deck team [members] that are very inexperienced. So he’s got his hands full straight away,” she teased.
“There will be no filler episodes” or “toxic” storylines in Season 10, promises Aesha

In recent seasons, this franchise has leaned into toxic storylines and raunchy antics. But this season, “Every single episode [is] so packed full. There will be no filler episodes. Every single one will have you absolutely enthralled in [your] screen,” Aesha explained, thankfully noting that “none of it is toxic gross stuff. It’s like real-life” stuff instead.
“People are going through things with their family or their relationships or their personal lives. And I think the viewers will really enjoy going on this journey with us.” Admittedly, though, “There are obviously hookups and some drama, there always is. But it’s not the main thing this season,” she confessed.
“I remember walking through the boat, and I’m like, ‘Oh my god. The story gods are shining upon us.’ Because it’s like every time one story wrapped up, another massive thing would come through.” During filming, Aesha just knew, “It’s going to be one of the best seasons of Below Deck ever.”
Nevertheless, the weather and the yacht’s layout will create many stressful moments. All meals are on the sundeck, since an office consumes “the whole bridge deck aft.”
Also, viewers beware, “I looked absolutely horrific all season … I tried to go blonde. And then two days before [filming], I freaked out and dyed it back brown, but it was so damaged that it was like straw, and it couldn’t hold any of the dye,” Aesha revealed. She also got “all these cold sores halfway through the season too. So it’s just not an aesthetically great season for me.”
Below Deck Mediterranean is streaming on Peacock. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
