As a longtime friend of Charlie Sheen, Mira Sorvino has experienced her share of infamous moments involving him.
Mira’s seen him at his absolute lowest point and has had at least one interaction with him that has stayed with her all these years. Charlie proposed to the Academy Award winner in the car years ago. At the time, she says he was high on crack, prompting her to respond that she wouldn’t accept his proposal in the current state he’s in. She says that after that, Charlie asked if he could light up again.
According to Mira, Charlie had a crack pipe in the car when the proposal happened.

Conversing with Charlie Sheen during his days of substance abuse problems was like going to the dark side, according to Mira. Speaking exclusively to Page Six, Mira called her time with him in the 90s a “three-day odyssey through the underworld.”
There appears to be conflicting stories about some of their interactions together. Charlie had previously visited Slash from Guns N’ Roses. According to him, he randomly ran into Mira at that same time. The musician pleaded with Charlie to go to rehab. Mira, meanwhile, per Charlie, said she would sleep with him if he went to court the next morning while on the lam from the police. Mira found his recalling of that in his memoir The Book of Sheen comical, saying, “I don’t think it actually went down like that. I would beg to differ.”
Mira admitted she was very fond of Charlie and acknowledged that she had yet to read his new book. She’s busy with other projects right now, playing the role of Roxie Heart in the Broadway musical Chicago. Mira previously appeared on the 32nd season of Dancing with the Stars and she and partner Gleb Savchenko were the fifth pair eliminated.
