Several people tried to warn Bozoma Saint John about the dangers of joining Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Nevertheless, Boz and all her fashions arrived in Season 14, where she starred as a full-time, fearless diamond holder alongside this long-established cast. Now, did Boz face a few roadblocks within this group of Gucci-loving gals? Yes. In fact, her hurdles aligned with the warnings coming from her inner circle ahead of filming.
Bozoma Saint John was advised not to join the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast
Earlier this week, Boz appeared on Today with Jenna and Friends. As she explained to host Jenna Bush Hager, she felt “nervous” about joining this cast. And the warnings from her close contacts did little to ease her fears.
“You already know everybody was like, ‘Don’t do it! You have an amazing reputation, you’re in the Hall of Fame, [with] this career of 25 years.'” So, “Why would you go on TV and fight with women?” Boz asked, noting examples of the warnings she received.
However, as Boz explained, “I was like, wait. But is [fighting] what I have to do? Because I don’t think that’s what I have to do,” she stressed.
Regardless, “I think with all of the decisions that I’ve made through the course of my career, most of which have been wildly unpopular, this was just another one,” she quipped. With Season 14 now under her belt, Boz is soon returning for another ride on this series. This time, she likely received no further warnings.
But speaking of RHOBH Season 15, Boz teases, “It’s a big season. Lots of action, [with a] big cast.” Overall, “Whew,” a lot is “going on,” she added.
