Meghan Markle’s Lifestyle Brand Faces Mockery From Prince William & Kate Middleton’s Inner Circle, Source Claims

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s inner circle reportedly makes fun of Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever. According to a source, they have come up with a nickname, taking a dig at the longevity and success of the same.

For those unversed, the Duchess of Sussex launched her lifestyle brand at the beginning of this year. The products included homemade jams, wines, and cookies. She promoted them on her Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s group have a nickname for Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, per source

Meghan Markle’s relationship with Prince William and Kate Middleton’s inner circle has been tarnished since she and Prince Harry left the royal palace. A source told RadarOnline that the Prince and Princess of Wales’ group joked around about the former actress’s new venture, As Ever. Reportedly, they have a nickname for her lifestyle brand.

“Within William and Kate’s circle, people joked by calling it ‘As If,’ meaning they doubt it will ever succeed. It became a running joke that had everyone laughing,” the insider claimed. The brand was officially out in the market in April, but Markle had first flaunted a batch of her products in March.

She gave viewers a glimpse of the items in the premiere episode of her Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.” However, it was officially launched the next month, and products were sold out in less than an hour.

The “Suits” alum even sent a few samples with handwritten notes to her close friends and family. Her company mainly focuses on homemade products, home-grown ingredients, and sharing a meal with people one cherishes.

However, a source told the outlet that the royals might not think the brand would have a future. They reportedly mocked the name, calling it “As If,” and were exchanging “plenty of messages” about it. “The whole venture feels poorly put together and lacking polish – honestly, it’s a bit embarrassing,” they added.
