Who doesn’t like a good crossover? Below Deck Mediterranean’s Chief Stew Aesha Scott recently found out that Daisy Kelliher is taking her old spot on Below Deck Down Under. One would think that Daisy would have told Aesha she was taking her old gig herself. However, Aesha said she heard the news once Daisy posted it online. Oop. So, what was Aesha’s reaction to Daisy joining Captain Jason Chambers?
Aesha Scott thinks Daisy Kelliher and Captain Jason are “a great match”
Aesha reigned supreme as the chief stew on BDDU. However, she had hopped over to BDM on Season 9 to work with Captain Sandy Yawn instead. It was quite shocking at first because Aesha was the yin to Jason’s yang. Who else would put in Jason’s contact lenses for him?
Fans had hoped Aesha would still return to the series after Lara Rigby wasn’t quite the right fit. But, alas, Aesha is staying on BDM for Season 10. And although it’s not with Jason, she’s a great match for Sandy.
She told DECIDER, “It’s so special because the longer that Sandy and I work together, like with most relationships that you give time, we just keep getting closer and closer. Our bond is so beautiful.”
But how does Aesha feel Daisy will do as chief stew for Captain Jason? First, she admitted she didn’t know that Daisy was “taking over her position until she heard about it on social media.”
While that probably wasn’t the best way to hear the news, Aesha had nothing but positive things to say about Daisy joining the show. She said, “I love that she’s gone there because I feel like her and Jason are such a great match, and I think she’s really going to thrive in that space.”
Daisy killed it as Chief Stew on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, so I have high hopes she’ll do the same over on BDDU.
