Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars has fully kicked in gear and there’s been several eliminations already. One celebrity who is still standing in the competition though is Danielle Fishel. Despite receiving consistent mid-low scores, she and her pro partner Pascha Pashkov are not giving up.
One thing that is helping their journey continue is the fan support. Danielle is mostly known for her starring role as Topanga in Boy Meets World. Speaking of the iconic sitcom, a beloved former co-star will be making an appearance on DWTS. And his name is William Daniels, also known as Mr. Feeny (and the voice of KITT if you are of a certain genre).
Danielle Fishel reveals William Daniels will attend on Dedication night
Danielle recently teased her upcoming Week 5 performance on her podcast Danielle with the Stars. According to her, it will be Dedication Week, and she will dedicate her routine to William. Now 98 years old, he has been a mentor to her for decades, and she wants to give him his flowers.
“I’m so excited. It’s really a dedication to Bill and the role he has played in my life and the role Boy Meets World has played in my life,” she explained in the October 8 episode.
Danielle also announced that he will actually be involved in the dance somehow. And, that there’s going to be one more key detail that will give fans a full sense of nostalgia.
”Saying it out loud feels crazy. But yes, we get to dance to the Boy Meets World theme song, the one you all know and love.”
Hopefully she won’t be eliminated on this special day for her. After all, that seems to be a growing pattern on DWTS. Singer Lauren Jauregui was unexpectedly eliminated on the one night her Fifth Harmony band members were in the audience. Fingers crossed.
Dancing with the Stars Season 34 airs on Tuesdays on ABC and Disney+, with episodes available to stream on Hulu the next day.
