It feels like a lifetime ago, but remember when Madison LeCroy from Southern Charm got wrapped up in a rumor involving Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez? Supposedly, A-Rod slid into Madison’s DMs, and that played a part in the demise of his engagement to Jennifer.
Well, J. Lo just appeared as a guest on the October 15 episode of Watch What Happens Live, and of course, Andy Cohen couldn’t help but ask about the years-old rumor. She finally broke her silence on the matter — sort of.
Jennifer Lopez might be done talking about her private life
“The Bravoverse will kill me if I do not ask this next question,” Andy began. “It came up at a Southern Charm reunion a few years ago … that your ex, A-Rod, was DMing one of the cast members.”
Andy continued, “And there was a lot of speculation in the press or on the show that that somehow led to your breakup. Is there anything you can speak to about that?”
It’s a bold question to ask of the A-lister. You could tell Jennifer needed a moment to figure out the best way to answer. After taking a beat, she threw him a big, fat non-answer.
“You know, I really have nothing to say about my personal life anymore,” Jennifer replied. “I feel like I’m done with that.”
Look, we get it. Since the time she and A-Rod called things off, Jenny from the Block has been engaged, married, and divorced from someone else. Her love life makes more headlines than her music. Still, for some WWHL fans, the lack of a concrete answer on this Madison situation was just the answer they needed.
“Thank you J. Lo for confirming,” commented one WWHL fan on Instagram.
“That’s a great answer & the confirmation I needed,” added another.
Similar comments are still rolling in across social media. So, although Jennifer didn’t give Andy much of an answer, it seems like we can put this rumor to rest for good.
