Much of the Season 7 drama in The Real Housewives of Miami swirled around Julia Lemigova. She feuded with her former besties, Guerdy Abraira and Adriana de Moura. These clashes puzzled RHOM viewers.
However, Julia dropped a bombshell at the reunion that stunned everyone. She claimed that she and Adriana slept together in the Hamptons during a Season 4 cast trip. The problem? Julia is married to Martina Navratilova, and admitted that she told her wife about the affair. However, Adriana denied Julia’s claims. Plus, Julia accused Adriana of allegedly emotionally “blackmailing” her. It was a lot for everyone to digest.
Julia Lemigova says her RHOM reunion outburts were “a cry for help”
Recently, Julia shared her feelings about the Season 7 RHOM reunion. “It was very emotional,” Julia told PEOPLE. “Reliving those moments is really hard, but it also made me think and self-reflect. And if you are honest with yourself and with your audience, it can actually be – believe me or not – quite a healing experience,” she added.
During the reunion, some never-before-seen flashback footage was shown, featuring Julia having heated moments. Of course, there was also the incident when Julia doused Guerdy with a cup of water during a disagreement. “There is no excuse for throwing things or screaming. I take full responsibility and accountability for my behavior, and I’m sorry, again, to Guerdy,” Julia stated. “There’s no one to blame for this but me.” The opera enthusiast added, “What I can see so clearly now is this wasn’t just a television meltdown; it was a cry for help that played out on camera.”
Now, Julia is ready to deal with past trauma, including the death of her five-month-old son, Maximilien Stern. He died in 2000 from shaken baby syndrome while in a nanny’s care. “I’m seeking treatment for my PTSD, because I need to finally deal with things I’ve buried for years. This is deep work, and I can’t do it alone,” Julia shared.
